Tullow Oil’s trading statement reflects 2021 results that are in line with our forecasts and guidance for 2022 that is also broadly in line, with slightly higher investments planned offset by a higher assumed oil price. Stockready, I agree no conflict. What is happening is a split in Nato, German Government keeping very neutral on all comments due to their dependence on Russian Energy. Also Polish and Baltic Nations are going to require more funding for border protection. End results for Putin is a weaker Germany and more expense for Nato for border protection.

China has a lot of cash. It seems to be building an investment policy in Third world physical infrastructure projects. what its third world aim is, is a big political think tank at the moment. What Chinas 10, 20, or 30 year plan is seems to be summerised as a dependency, by those countries, on them due to ownership of said infrastructure. Much too heavy for us small investors.

If the government wants winfalll tax, surely the point that will be pushed back by the O&G will be how much or what % of the unit price charged to consumers goes into tax payments.

When is the next update due, seems we are heading back up, long may it last. We are overdue a re rating.
