Could it be that the buyback is kicking in, with low free float in shares and reluctance to sell at this level . I am looking to buy back in at 70 level. If good mks results tomorrow will take profit and return to Gnc.

Some fall today after a good start. Anyone have idea why

You cannot compare and make comparisons to before crisis and now. I purchased 500 shares pre crisis, lost certs and have only recentley about 6 months sorted it out with BIRG registar, I got 42 of the new shares

500 to start
3 for 2 share issue = 1250 shares
30 to 1 dilution equals 41.66 shares

I am just happy to finally break even after about 12 years in the red. Will continue to hold now as a value share. As I reach 70
my whole risk level changes. This coming year i will hope to move out of risky shares and settle for low risk shares. A smaller number of shares but more secure portfolio. Will depend on likes BIRG, BP, RYA and CRH all companies I have an understanding of their product.

It would be interesting to know what level of liability GNC has in the way of repayment of government support during Covid. When added ti debt what is new level of liability On the surface it is undervalued at this level. There must be a reason.

I am finally even and up a smidge since first buying original shares, in 2006 at circa 13 Euro to gambling and buying diluted shares in 2016 at 18 cent (low 6 figure amount). Time a great leveler, will remain a while but will get out at the slightest hick up.

With all these descitions to on invedting or not due to shopping experiences, maybe mks should start trading shares in store ??

One point i am suprised no consumer group is jumping on is the fact that retailers maintain a certain % margin on all products. As base line cost increases so does the base line margin. However retailer will say that margin remains the same. Hidden profit even when fuel and wage cost increase is deducted. 8.70 is my break even point after about 20 years invested with BIRK. My saving point was buying in fairly heavy in July 2016
when price was below 20cent.
