Exactly. If I listened to him at the beginning of the year I would have missed out on a very nice profit. He clearly has an agenda, perhaps he lost money on EUA in the past.
The Monchetundra permit could land any day now. I'd much rather be invested now than risk missing out especially as the current share price is so low. Great opportunity to invest top up now IMHO

You're not very well informed. YA has committed not to convert the loan notes before mid-September. I suggest you do more thorough research before giving your opinions here.

The question is what are YA going to do with the shares?
IMHO I don't think YA will sell into the market as often happens. One possibility is for YA to do a trade sale of all it's shares to an II or HNW investor. This would be mutually beneficial. Taking a large position in EUA by buying in the open market is very difficult as the SP gets bid up very quickly sobuying YA's shares would be an attractive proposition.

It's an illiquid stock so can be very volatile. It doesn't take much volume to drive it up or down if there is an excess of buying or selling.
I think some shareholders have liquidated their positions after the RNS revealed YA had exercised it's warrants as they were worried about YA selling a large amount of shares into the market.
My initial thought was YA had pre-sold the shares but after the holding RNS yesterday I'm not sure what it is intending to do. I certainly don't think it wants to trash the share price as the higher the sp the more its convertible loan notes are worth.
It's very hard to predict what's going to happen in the coming days/weeks but the Monchetundra permit could be signed any day now which would likely result in a strong rally.

A placing is very unlikely at this juncture.
Gold Dust just wants to encourage people to sell their shares to drive the price lower.
He was saying the same whilst I was buying shares at 0.25-0.35p and then the price rose to over 0.8p. if I had taken his advice I would be poorer ;-)

You missed the big rally but the overhang is pushing the SP down at the moment.
I'm still well up on my buys from 25-35p when you were warning against investing.

Jezebel you clearly don't understand how options/warrants are priced. The time value makes them more valuable than holding shares. You only exercise if you want to sell the underlying shares or if they are in the money and are about to expire.

It's only worth YA exercising warrants if it wants to sell the shares. Warrants, like options, have time value and are less risky than holding shares.

The key takeway from the results is that the company has achieved EBITDA profitability for July 2018 which is fantastic news.

Could it be classified as tight gas - If so the selling price of the gas is much higher? I remember Fiona saying it would be a big bonus if they found tight gas as the Argentinian government gives it favourable treatment
