Babbler2 - I'd say that large trade is likely a buy i.e. someone that took a large chunk of the City Financial shares

Most likely the majority of the shares were sold by corporate brokers. We could see some large buy orders printed in the next couple of days.

I doubt CF dumped all the shares today. I think they must have been gradually selling for a while and that is the main reason the share price is so low.
I've been wanting to increase my shareholding to take advantage of the SP weakness but I knew it was best to wait until the City Financial stake had been sold. I think we have just been given a green light now. Hopefully we'll also get some positive news from the company.

I doubt the MMs are still holding stock from CF as the delayed sell wouldn't have been printed until the MMs had finished dumping. I've seen this scenario play out numerous times on AIM and the share price usually recovers after a large sell has been printed.

I think the share price will be considerably higher after your IP is finished. People will like in tomorrow morning knowing that City Financial are out the picture. That has been hanging over us for a while now so despite the drop I'm happy they are out

I'm glad to see the back of City Financial.
They must have been selling down their position for a while and has caused the share price weakness.
Now they are completely out we should see a decent recovery especially if we get some good news.

Looks like it could be back above 4p shortly. The MMs are now ticking the price up after every buy.

The most likely scenario is MMs have taken the price down rapidly to create liquidity as they have a large sell order. If this is the case, the SP usually recovers quickly once the sell order is filled.

Thanks Chelsea. According to the SCLP website City were holding 14.28 million on 6 March. Hopefully, like you say they have decided to keep the shares now the fund has been taken over

Tapi Aike is potentially an extremely valuable asset. If the seismic looks positive we could see a very significant re-rate

The next step is to see how the seismic looks at Tapi Aike. Funds won't be raised until that happens. If the seismic looks positive I think that will create a lot of interest.

Has anyone checked the share register recently to see how many shares City Financial are holding?
