I 'm invested in another stock WSG which has been heavily deramped on LSE by former shareholders who dislike the CEO and they said he would never deliver. Sound familiar?
Well today a very juicy contract landed and the share price has started to re-rate. This contract has flagged up for quite a while but the share price has been very subdued although I thought the risk/reward looked excellent.

I'm expecting a similar scenario for NTOG which has so far failed to respond to a huge increase in the oil price. Perhaps news of contract in Tunisia or drilling a new well will be the catalyst but whatever it is I'm confident we'll see a very good return on an investment from the current share price

They did well to pick up additional assets when the oil price was very low.
The company has been cashflow positive since December and increasingly so given the large rise in production and oil price since then.
The Tunisia project is Steve Staley's initiative. He only joined the company last year and has very considerable experience in the oil & gas industry.

I wouldn't expect any fresh news for 2021 in the accounts for last year.
That will be saved for an operational update.
The news on the potential acquisition in Tunisia could drop anytime.

Results were better than expected. 2020 was the worst year in living memory for the oil industry. Despite this the NTOG accounts show a reduced loss compared to 2019.

The results this year will show a massive improvement due to the big increase in the oil price and a rise in production.
We know the company became cashflow positive in December which means revenue exceeded all corporate costs. Since December there has been a 26% rise in production, due to the successful drilling of a new well, and the price of oil has increased 42% which will make the company very profitable.

Today WTI reached a new cycle high above $71.

There has been a big rise in European Natural Gas prices so the economics of the projects in Italy and Spain must look far more attractive.

The company paid 34% of the costs of drilling and testing the well to acquire a 17% interest.
Now it only has to pay 17% of the costs of the project

NTOG announced it was cashflow positive in December when WTI was trading at $45.
Since then production has increased 26% and the WTI price has rocketed 57%.
Other oil stocks that I follow have seen big increases in their share prices in that time period yet the NTOG share price is in the doldrums. I think we'll see a strong re-rate of the share price in the coming weeks.

The share price hit 0.8p in February, around double the current price, when WTI was trading at $58.
I think it could easily surpass that on positive news so the risk/reward is very compelling at the current share price.
We are due updates on several fronts so we should see an RNS drop any day now ;-)

Funny how a share buyback was launched in February because: 'The TSG Board believes that at the current price the Company's shares offer significant value given the discount to industry valuation metrics'.
The last buyback was at 102p so I assume the directors thought this was a price that significantly undervalued the company yet a few days later they agreed to a takeover at 118p. Was this in the best interests of all shareholders?

So Vladislav Sviblov was behind the takeover, the same person that bought HGM last year.
The directors had a big incentive to accept the offer as it triggered the award of a large amount of share options and enabled them to make a fortune out of their various options and shareholdings in TSG.

Following yesterday's RNS, EEE is in the best shape it has been for a long time.
It can now focus on Australia and bringing Eclipse into production and has enough cash to exercise the option on Menzies assuming the exploration work programme is successful.
Following the recent appointment of Shaun Bunn, whose skillset complements that of Mike Struthers and Neil O'Brien, the company has one of the most experienced management teams amongst AIM listed mining companies.
I'm expecting a re-rate of the share price on the back of this and the positive gold price outlook

Well worth watching today's Mycelx presentation. The company has huge potential and I think there is a good chance of a takeover at a multiple of the current share price.
