Good start but I think there is plenty more to come this week. May take a bit of time for the news to sink in but I think the SP will properly re-rate now especially given the strength of the BSM share price. We could be in for some very substantial upside here now IMO

I think today's news will finally mark a turning point now in the fortunes of the company. The lowly market cap gives the potential for some very substantial against from the current SP. STGR will retain a large stake in a fully funded mine which will greatly expand output. It now has the opportunity to capitalise on its relationship with an experienced graphite player with a new mine and a properly executed plant. There are also some very exciting opportunities in the graphite space that we are going to hear more about soon.

They raised funds on the back of production in Q3 and then looked for an excuse as to why that couldn't happen. The story they came up with is that there is 'possibly' a larger resource. This will need further drilling. I think there will need to be further placings to 'explore' the larger resource, fund the earn in to the David Garedji resource plus all the company admin costs. Some believe the story, some don't. But further funding is nailed on which will impact the share price. Production, if it ever happens, will be unlikely to at least May/June given the harsh winter in Georgia. It will be interesting to see if the share price can hold up.

No, I think we are both just fed up how this is being played out. It's been ramped for ages and looks like it is ripe for a fall, due to lack of confidence in the BoD and the inevitable placing to fund more drilling and admin costs

It's a hard winter in Georgia so I don't suppose we'll see any production until next summer. I'd be surprised if NMG doesn't need another placing by then given the annual administration costs and cost if new drilling.

Also the company structure didn't change. Noricum just bought 100% of GMC which holds a 50% stake in Bolnisi so I wouldn't give your story much credibility. Who told you that, Greg?

Martyn Churchouse(MC) and Michael Johnson were shareholders of GMC, the company that Noricum bought their 50% stake in Bolnisi from. So MC has been working with the Russian for a while so I am not sure why he needs to build up trust. How much do you think MC & MJ paid for the stake in GMC (which was later acquired by NMG)? The answer is probably bugger all.

It's also revealing that Greg has not managed to gain any support from institutions. If the data was really that good, institutions would be queuing up to get involved. But in reality it's probably just a good story to suck in small personal investors.

It's not a new discovery. There must be a reason that the Georgians/Russians didn't bother mining it. Probably wasn't economical. Do we really think the Noricum team are more skilled and will be able to exploit the resource profitably or will it just be drilled out until investors lose confidence and the cash runs out?

You have to wonder why the Georgians never put it into production if it's such a wonderful asset. Also why go into partnership with a failure like Noricum than a proper well capitalised gold company? The odds of success are very much against the company ever making any real money IMO, but the directors do nicely with salaries, travel and nice expense accounts funded by shareholders.

Looks like it will drop below the recent 0.14p placing price. I think some of the placees will sell out now rather than risk a loss which will put the share price under more pressure.

The initial production target at Kvemo Bolnisi is a lot smaller than I expected - only a few thousand ounces of gold, according to Greg. The remainder is primarily copper with some low grade gold. Not too exciting in my opinion, given the low price of copper at the moment. Did Greg reveal previously that the initial gold target was only a few thousand ounces as I don't recall him saying that before. Most shareholders probably assumed the target was much larger. I think NMG was using the prospect of near-term gold production to enable it to get a placing away and to pump up the share price. I would be very surprised if there is any production prior to the next placing or two. I wonder how much is budgeted for the 8km road that is required?

Does anyone really still believe that Noricum would have been allowed to acquire the asset if it was any good? It's just a good story to suck in the gullible and take advantage of investor greed. Happens all the time on AIM. The share price has held up well considering there won't be any production/revenues so many managed to exit their position without too much of a hit. I think it's just going to drift down now. Who's going to be left holding the baby? If you're mad enough to still be a believer then better to sell now and buy back lower on the next placings as they are now nailed on.

All the paid PR today is laughable. Zak's traders cafe, Greg's interviews. Just trying to suck in gullible PIs to pay for the salaries and more PR. Don't be fooled!

The original plan was obviously uneconomic. They must be desperate for revenue so beware the positive spin they tried to put out in the RNS. Yet another disappointment for shareholders but directors are doing nicely with salaries and expense accounts

The share price is likely to get hammered over the coming weeks as there is no production to look forward too. More placings are inevitable as they have committed to $6 million on exploration + more for the new asset. Next placing price likely to be substantially lower

If the Georgian asset was as good as they make out Noricum would never have been able to acquire it. The Georgians would have kept it for themselves. It is a typical AIM stock where the directors make it look like a good story to create salaries and wealth for themselves at the expense of small personal investors. If you like gold buy into a proper gold company or the commodity itself.
