Turning point?5 Sep 2017 10:17
I think there were three main reasons behind the large fall in the share price:
1. A large seller
2. Summer malaise
3. Lack of contract announcements and concerns over whether the company had enough cash to reach profitability.
Does today's RNS mark a turning point? Well, perhaps:
1. Stephen Myers had 4.1% left on 18 July, down from over 10%. So if he was intending to sell his remaining stake he has already had plenty of time to do it.
2. The summer lull is now over which could prompt stronger buying pressure.
3. Today's RNS reiterated that existing cash would be sufficient to take the company to profitability. Also some progress has been made on winning new contracts. Midguard sounds exciting and sounds like it has the potential to be a game changer.
