Don't forget not everyone that is prepared to strike will be staying with BT long term. Times have changed. You want better pay and conditions - move on. You only know what you're worth to the company after you have handed in your notice. Then you get a better deal. It sucks but that's how it is. As business user of BT, I tend to notice that local faults are often created when a repair is being carried out on an adjacent service. Wires crossed, terminations disturbed. The network can often calm down when people aren't fiddling with it. Things ain't going to stop over a couple of days. How many faults are resolve by power cycling routers, switches, servers etc all of which can be done remotely.

At some point the income loss from striking is greater than the improved pay award they’re striking for. Just hope they’ve done the maths.

The strikes will enable management to determine who they can do without and facilitate restructuring.
Seems like a good time to buy in.

New investors that jumped on board yesterday while I abandoned ship completely will learn the pain of holding PODP. I’d averaged down to 109p & sold up circa 114p so a small profit on 30,000 shares. So thanks for than ST. Update on Thursday. I prefer to be out rather than hang on over the results. Maybe they’ll shoot up to 150p or dip below 85p who knows but plenty of opportunity methinks to get back on board. GLA

There will be a trading update from the company on 28th July. EDF the majority shareholder (approx 50%) was 84% owned by the French Government. EDF being nationalised & French government buying remaining 16% of EDF by Public Tender (offer). EDFs sp risen on back of this. Not sure what EDF will do with their holding in PODP. LGEN own 25%, the rest free float I think. Can't see LGEN wanting any shares going private for 100p since the IPO was 225p. IMO this is going up from here. DYOR etc.

The market doesn't know how to price the company. Current market cap. of £152m. Take off £96m cash as of Feb 2022 = £56m for a company that had £61m of yearly revenues. The price is absurd and I'm more certain than ever that PE, Shell or BP will be sniffing around with a longer term view in mind. Like it or not, the future is EV & PODP are well established hence why I have significantly increased my holdings in recent days. I'm a contrarian investor on this one now.

Are we now down 56% from IPO price. Had to top up today but that's my last tranche.

Don't forget the £96m they had in cash as at last report in Feb. Current valuation is 'blank' (fill in missing word).

Took out a few stops at 100p today I think. Still hangin' in there for update. Convinced this is being worked down ready for low ball offer. No news, very low volume & SP decimated almost on a daily basis. Two weeks 'till update. Things could get interesting. Maybe we just need to get this Tory beauty parade out of the way. Same old, same old.

Motor insurance coming up for renewal with DLG. Renewal was cheaper than last year but noticed it was for business when should have been SDP. Couldn't update policy on-line. Couldn't get through on phone - held in queue, no idea what position. Cancelled renewal, went with LV= for £20 less. Not impressed. Sold DLG at 235p. Thank goodness. The new laws preventing insurance companies from increasing premiums automatically on renewals has changed the field.

UK economy grows by 0.5% in May. Quick, bury the good news. Fear and uncertainty must be disseminated.

Maybe this week's heatwave will re-ignite the EV debate. Someone on ADVFN mentioned EDF selling electricity at 4p/KWH to Pod Point customers - citation needed.
