I too have a db pension (not lgps) administered by Capita. I still get monthly paper statements. I enquired some time ago, maybe three years, if I could go paperless but they replied that it was not an option. This is an area where there must be cost savings.

Anyone with any experience of working in or with industry would be aware that cyber attacks are a constant & increasing threat & not unique to Capita. Embarrassing yes, but the method of data breach is not identified and unlikely to be so. Employees are often the weakest link to be targeted. This was reported ten days ago.
