He mentions the JV and indicates that the parties have agree on value. Our partners need to reach agreement on the value of our asset.

Clearly this had been the sticking point all along. I would guess Copl finally lost patience and torpedoed the talks

So now we either go it alone for now or get into negotiations with another potential partner.

The advantage we have now is that any future partner will know we aren't in the business of giving the asset away cheaply.
