To me it is all positive news with unexpected added bonuses , like the 5% falling into our willing hands etc.
However, I think the main challenge, and I repeat this is only my view but also suspect it is others also, is that things are going in the right and in a great direction but 3 factors hold the SP back. I repeat them here for fear of doubt and IMHO only:
1. Macro fiscal & geopolitical factors and sentiment derailing everything and the hyoe of 2020/21 giving false expectations to us all, on top!
2. NCM overly conservative, not shouting about us as before and in dire need of looking internally out for their own SH etc
3. And a big 3 is lack of certainty which should come in the form of DFS & DTM.

Of course the quadruple bonus would be a strike outside Hav.

And let’s be honest .. Gervaise for example , did great things but could not would not and thank goodness hasn’t managed this past year or so ! Shaun is , can and has and we’ve needed him.
Post gold strike is immensely important. What happens now direction wise is key to future shareholder value.
Debating the pros and cons is not insignificant if we own even a piece of the company.

Maybe not a perfect analogy .. but did anyone ever watch the series Narcos ? Ole pablo produced a Ton of the powdery stuff and got toms of paper notes for it … but ended up burying stacks cos he had too much lying about and didn’t know what to do with it ! Or couldn’t direct it legally.

Then you’ve got your lotto winners. Brilliant. Toms of dosh … but they’re clueless ! And often end up going broke eventually through mismanagement of their spoils …

Gold mines need both geologists who strike and management who direct what happens next. It’s just business !

I may have started this conversation inadvertently around a decision to mine being needed for ‘certainty’
However , my post was merely pointing out that new investors and more imstos would be likely to come onboard after an announced go ahead to mine became official !!that’s all.

Now I asked the question on LSEs interview with Donald and Shaun only weeks ago pre the town hall.
I’ve never seen SD so sure of anything. He seemed completely confident about the craziness of NCM to not take up this golden opportunity to feed Telfer.

I get that people also accepted the 5% was a certainty and I’m still surprised they didnt take it. So I get why certainty would help everyone breathe more easily.hence my post.

But …. I can say for certain that SD ,if the impossible happened , would turn it on its head and make it another win somehow for us ultimately.
He seems to always have a Plan B. That’s why he’s so good at his job.

Let’s just wait n see. But half a billions a lot fo throw away now isn’t it ? It is no longer a game. David has Goliath firmly in his sights.

All agreed. All I am saying which I hope was clear...is that until they make that public...the fire in people's bellies will not yet be fully lit!
Just need the certainty to get those not yet invested on board :-)

I do think that when the DTM is 'actual' not an almost cert though, in peoples minds, then that is when we will begin the upward rise.So many quirks nd twists along htis pathway have muddied some peoples minds I believe, and belief in this stock.

IMHO Certainty will bring sharp upwards rewards and a blinkin heavy sigh of relief!! Aaaaahhhhhhh!

Shaun practically salivates at each mention of Ernest Giles and IMO has dropped hint after hint that we only need another strike that is far smaller than Havieron, too put a rocket launch up our stock!

From my perspective, I was just curious about whether many have changed their targets dramatically given our change of pace here currently. We have had everything on the bb from £1.44 down to pennies and everything in-between. I was looking at mindset shifts given the drop to these levels.

I see it potentially as having more not less potential to hit new peaks ,if SD gets his own way but not for many more years than most will stay.

Just interesting to observe and we all have different goals and needs. Thanks for those who participated.

It is obviously ALL academic whilst we it here at 8p but I am ever the optimist! I agree with Red..if it could have been taken out of my hands with a take out then life would have been easier but now we get to decide.......all to play for yet.

Just being chief mischief maker in a lull in my day and also to motivate people to think about future potential as opposed to the daily grind of negativity on here!!
