The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Yes, but the reaction is somewhat muted now 38.80 @11.10; on Friday the vol. was an uninspiring 5453 and today, now, roughly 8807. Although given the growing importance of the sector, I wonder where it will be at the end of the year. Also, I can recall when this used to brimming with BB posters after such news and even in between.
Yes AG1989. And indeed good reasons to take full advantage of the unbelievably cheap share price to top up or as an entry point.
Hi Rktech
We were both puzzled by the placing, but the events proceeding it have brought us to what could prove to be a pivotal turning-point for GST. Good luck to all shareholders.
Thanks NicName; looking at today's RNS, it seems there's someway to go before there will be any clear developments.
It's so impressive that Colin is so positively engaged with shareholders and providing appropriate responses; that's a mark of pure confidence.
I think that Penny and the team have done the best that they could given the rather abrupt change of circumstances surrounding the PCR tests; the interview suggests MHC seems to be prepared for rising to new challenges. Without that the situation regarding the tests, we would have been easily matching and indeed exceeding the highs of this year following such superb results. There has been a setback but ultimately they have a solid platform on which they can build over the long term and therefore realise MHC's potential promise.
I was thinking of investing here and wondered what do people feel about its LT prospects following the news of the raise requirement at the end of Q3.
Thanks G-Man11.
I guess the timing of the RNSs said it all.
well in the FT: the one analyst offering a 12 month price target expects SIMEC Atlantis Energy Ltd share price to rise to 45.00 in the next year from the last price of 5.00 (4.85) https://markets.ft.com/data/equities/tearsheet/forecasts?s=SAE:LSE
Yes. On 28 September 2021 the Company announced a proposed Placing at 2.5 pence per Ordinary Share to raise gross proceeds (before expenses) of approximately £2.5 million.

Once again, I have to agree with you about the grating effect that the cash placing has had, but on the positive side, Tone Goh said ' The Placing will provide funds for us to progress our fintech plans, in particular in conjunction with our collaboration partner, Wise MPay'. Let's wish them success as they move forward with their plans.

I have posted this on another BB, but it also relevant to Zephyr. The piece makes the point that 'Despite our optimistic enthusiasm for wind and solar power, one way or another oil and gas use is shot through every part of our economic and social lives. That will be the case for many decades to come.'

A very relevant article in the FT discussing the point that the 'Gas crisis shows why we must stop demonising fossil fuels'. One of the key points made is 'Despite our optimistic enthusiasm for wind and solar power, one way or another oil and gas use is shot through every part of our economic and social lives. That will be the case for many decades to come.'
Thanks investor110 for taking the time and effort to write this up, summarising the points so lucidly and thereby drawing attention to the strengths of Zephyr going forward.
'Whilst the Government has announced the removal of Day 2 testing from an October date to be confirmed, the Directors remain confident that monthly testing volumes will remain a significant contributor to growth throughout the remainder of the financial year, even with levels naturally lower than the peak levels seen around summer holiday period. These revenues are still expected to contribute significantly to the results for the financial year ending 31 December 2021 and the Directors remain very optimistic about the business prospects for the full year.'

That might be due to the data from the actual London Stock Exchange, although it appear on its leader board; strange, as they issued no Price Monitoring Extension notice, given the 40% rise, which is also normally emailed to those registered with them.
'In anticipation of the Government of India's (GoI) ratification of the Acquisition, the Company is advancing the various steps needed to recommence production from two wells (C-73 and C-77H); a further update will follow soon'.
If MHC have been slow to react to the speed with which events have developed, you would assume that they are avidly reviewing the situation with regards to launching of products as we write. Let's hope the income, which was phenomenal for the company, is being used wisely and appropriately to consolidate its future development. Still, on the PCR front, the sentiment among the scientific community is that the testing should not be compromised so things could change again quickly.
'Alan McNally is Professor of Microbial Evolutionary Genomics at the University of Birmingham, which set up a so-called Lighthouse lab, a facility dedicated to PCR testing, at the beginning of the pandemic. He tells BBC Radio 4's Today programme: "If you look at the rates of Covid in the UK now they’re high, so probably lateral flow testing will be sufficient for travellers.
"But I don’t think we can just completely remove all controls on travel… we know from the past that travel-associated Covid is very high risk for this country."He says he hopes for a “very strong mandate” that any positive lateral flow tests are followed by a PCR test to detect variants.
“We still need that genome level surveillance of Covid cases being introduced into the UK from abroad,”
