Thanks for this. The only reason I mentioned 2014 was because Thebhoys referred to 2013 in his post and the price then. Apart from that, I certainly agree that Zephyr under its current BOD has superb potential. Its ascent is only just beginning.
Thebhoys:
'Then came the results the SP shot up to around £2.50 by the middle of the year'.
I appreciate that going forward things have fundamentally changed in ways that are absolutely positive and impressive, but out of curiosity, why was there such a colossal collapse in the price of the share? I note that it hit £3.55 on the 1st of August 2014.
The article notes that 'The USA has been named as the largest global crude oil producer according to US Department of Energy report (EIA 2018); the tight shale gas and tight oil formations in the Permian and Bakken regions are two (2) among the top three (3) formations that have contributed to this feat'.

'There is big pressure to totally scrap PCR too, but I doubt that will happen anytime soon'
Indeed: 'The BBC understands that a full CMA market study or investigation would require a formal consultation before an investigation could be launched and these investigations typically last between 6 and 18 months. Therefore, a wholesale reform of the market could be difficult because of time constraints'

It’s the long term view that’s the crucial one to bear in mind, as emphasised by Colin in his July 1st interview:
‘We are aggressive with our ambition, but we are also very careful to relay concrete deadlines and targets that we can hit and deliver’. He later moves on to state: ‘We are co-investors here, we’re very mindful of our responsibilities. We are not short term traders we are not here to pump the stock; this is a long-term play for us’.

Thanks for putting into context the significance of Cora's progress so far through your informed posts. I was just wondering where do you see Cora being in terms of its potential in a year's time. Best wishes

I must admit I initially joined Zephyr taking a small holding on the back of the technical analysis of Zak earlier this year. Notwithstanding the various dips, the overall longterm trajectory he has plotted for the shares based on the technicals has been on target, although the shorter term timeline he offers when analysing the share is far less exact. I recall there being an interview on Vox where he stated that he would be delighted if he had a 50% hit rate on the targets he sets. Still, I noted that when analysing Zephyr he always used to emphasise that the fundamentals of Zephyr were also strong. Of course, ultimately the maxim DYOR applies to this and any share.

Thanks for this summary Shalf. It's very insightful.
But once this is de-risked, he mentioned the figure of 7%, which works out at 145 million barrels.
