The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Not a worry, an observation, looking a lots of high volume stocks today, many dropped simultaneously as volume of KP2 increased rapidly, I was hoping for some thoughtful discussion of the trends and what might happen next
This is funny, do you think what we all say on here influences the decisions of the hordes of day traders the pile in and out of shares like KP2 and Yu on days like these? There have been days when this board has been down for hours and I don't think it made the slightest difference to the trading that day. People seem to get really stressed over the comments on here when they really don't matter to the actual SP.
I didn't think my posts were 'deramping' if such a thing is possible on a board like this. I'll try to be mindful of the more sensitive souls on here in the future
Don't really think any posts on here contribute to share price movements, I was just commenting on the pattern that was happening with KP2, trying to generate discussion. We'd have to have a very high opinion of our views to think they make a difference to the SP don't you think?
I like to watch events like this to learn and spot patterns to inform my investment decisions. I specialise in rapidly oversold stocks (like YU currently) where there is market over reaction to bad news. They tend to recover slowly over days and weeks and are more reliable multi baggers
I wouldn't give much credit to comments on here affecting SP either way, today KP2 was just flavour of the day and day traders were responsible for the majority of the move. You have to admit the RNS didn't change what we know about the company very much however the long-term potential is definitely there.
Where will the corpse come to rest... 0.25?
What difference do people expect a positive judgement to make to the SP and why? Current price in line with historical prices over last year
