It's a pity this is happening over the Easter holidays as we could have had another day or two before people top sliced and derisked. The 2 upcoming bank holidays seem to be leaving some nervous if news lands and they cannot exit.

But imagine the surge if the news is good on Monday night on the ASX.

Hopefully the stars align and 88e is sold to a major for a healthy profit for us shareholders.

The data from the failed wells is even worth 10s of millions and imagine where we would be sitting today if Premier hadn't sh*t their pants last year.

If we read between the lines it might have been the government compensation was low and never involved the permits required either. So if they arent willing to do that AST might as well got for the full amount via the Courts. Who knows what might come out of official arbritration too? You would imagine arbritation will involve professional negotiators, the cost of issuing permits from the Governemnt is effectivaly zero versus a 100m+ compensation bill for breaking their own laws and international embarresment.

The bright side is that the possible 100M+ AST is seeking is many multiples of the current MCAP.

Further analysis of the zones they drilled will be released over the next 2 to 3 months plus analysis of the "Large Condensate" discovery size and quality. There is also further information to be released in relation to the HRZ the drill also targeted. However it wouldnt be unexpected to see this information delayed due to the virus situation if these are being carried out by independant third party labs.

Only 1 out of 7 targetted zones was water bearing (indigo).

When they drilled Icewine 1 they stated oil / condensate leached from the core samples which helped support the HRZ sweet spot theory. So fingers crossed the large condensate discovery supports it further.

When is the conference call scheduled for? I cant see anything on the AST website.

Any deal will be similar to the PMO deal where a certain percentage of recoverable assets will be used to lure a partner. At the moment 88e with their partner BEX have 100% of all conventional and non conventional again.

Everything is speculation though until the proper results come from the lab tests and analysis.

Kashdog did JP give any information on what exactly is the plan going forward? Has litigation been put on the back burner?

Why would they reveal anything about the 3d when things appear to be going legal?

It makes zero sense to give people with a vested interest in preventing progress any additional information.

I believe the majority of shares are in private holders hands rather than large single holders such as banks or funds.

This means they would have to buy around 30% of the company on the open market to force a takeover and this would send the share price much much higher.

Surely the EIA was a certainty anyway?

I would view it as something akin to planning permission especially now that what they had permission to do before is being altered.

Did Colin mention something before about Slovene solicitors on board too with expertise in this area?
