Article in today's Times pointing out Ancora have been in discussions with management about “underperformance, business strategy, historical missteps, executive leadership, governance and potential avenues to maximise value”.
Hopefully someone will come out of the woodwork with an offer.

What did it say?
Still no insider dealing nearly a month on and SP at such a low level.
"After rejecting four proposals and refusing to engage with the bidder, Wood has now written to seek assurances on certain basic issues such as how the deal would be financed and whether there would be any competition problems, according to The Sunday Times."
That sounds similar to todays news

Part of me thinks this might happen too.
If he had released the offer price it would have put a floor on the share price, however he didnt and the share price has dropped. Perhaps this is to help friendly people to accumulate more...
but they will also want a return on 70p.
Christ that would be bloody glorious if it dropped at 16.31
You could be like those guys that bought a pizza years ago with 30 bitcoin

Looks to be someone involved in a few different businesses but also in the health and supplements industry with brands Neubria and Vitapod and is from the Altrincham area. Wonder what he has heard....
Im guessing the throwaway comment he is referring to is the one in the article 2 days ago in This is MOney where they stated "Moulding, 51, had been approached to de-list THG by funds 'looking at good assets that are undervalued',"
Thus knowing they had been approached THG had to make a public announcement in response to the press speculation.
"A throw-away line in an otherwise typically wildly inaccurate press piece, resulted in a share price spike and an obligation to make an announcement, culminating in a c.45% increase in the share price on the day. Ouch!"
Tomorrow we find out what the individual parts of THG are worth which will help give us an indication of what the bid will be.
Surely the takeover bid would have to be in excess of the share price in the last 12mths?
Peaked around 150 in last 12mths
Add in a rush to close short positions...
Possibility of more than 1 offer....
The best thing for share holders would be a bigger player opting to farm-in and finance a flow test.
It has to be very tempting now the whole area has been derisked when you add 88e and Panr data.
Panr are there for the taking too with their 10p convertible loan calls.
They are drilling different wells / zones you absolute sandwich.
If you're going to spread nonsense at least make it half believable.
Surely this must be on some PE radars even moreso now with a lower £?
That USA Army helmet contract signed in February was worth about 50% of the current MCAP.
If i recall correctly i remember Dave Wall stating in a presentation that the reason they used 2d seismic for Merlin was that the cost of 3d mapping would have cost the same as the initial well plan.
However this obviously didnt factor in cost over runs on the drill, the initial equipment ****up at merlin 1 and then drilling merlin 2.
Hindsights a wonderful thing however.
Maybe this is the news.....

What would be nice while we await wireline results would be some news on what income we should be expecting from the Permian wells.
Interesting choice of words using tank and Evraz in the same paragraph.
@Lyndhurst1973 considering you couldnt predict Evraz was about to be suspended despite the bloody obvious we'll all take everything you predict with a large pinch of salt you dose.
Looks like this is falling off a cliff in response to the USA ban on oil that was just stated by a senator on CNN.
