I wonder if the share sales are due to settlement of a self assessment TAX bill?
Isnt this guys intentions to hive off the GLS arm, which actualy makes money, float that somewhere in Europe and then dump the UK arm of the business back in the UK markets?
Takeover rumour just dropped by the financial times about 10 minutes ago from the Czech guy
Hard to argue against that!
I think we would all prefer to have the higher dividends than the buybacks.
When you take a look at Backmarket and its crazy valuation of $5bn why havnt MMAG gone down the route of opening up its cutomer base to selected third party providers selling through their platform and creaming off a % of sales revenue? Why dont they license the refurb sales platform to mobile operators or do the whole refurb sales process for them in a 3pl style?
It would certainly be an inexpensive and strong starting point for someone to launch such a venture using the MMAG brand.
Well it wont since you cant proactively change rules/laws then go back and apply them.
Why do you think we're in arbritration in the first place?
While I suspect a t/o is not happening any time soon you'd hope some larger companies would be taking a look at a utility company like this.
Shell will have had a nice look under the bonnet before setting up the new hedging facility with their 12mth due diligence process. Would Yu compliment Shells existing retail business....?
If you click the hotlink on that new atlas article it relates to this statement:

@ 19:58 thats patently not true.
At the time of the initial planning an EIA was not required for the fracking AST intended carrying out and was subsequently required when planning law was changed by ministers in the Slovenian government when they banned ALL fracking.
Clearly ASTs planning was in before these law changes. Its pretty obvious their intention was to delay AST for this reason and to subsequently subject AST to these 'new laws' is what this whole case in based on plus the behaviour of Slovenian Politicians leaking market sensetive information to the press against AST.
Whichever way you look at it somone didnt want AST making a success of this gas field whether this was xenophobic, environmental or russian reasons is yet to be determined.
That end of a bell Scott126 did some disappearing act when the PANR share price crashed too.
Not surprising he has risen from his hole to spout more nonsense which he will continue to do until the next crash.
Surely instead of share buy backs reducing the overall company debt would be far more beneficial to the share price?
I took another 1984 shares this morning on a T+10 on Interactive Investor.
Some legs on this today!
Always seems to be muted on the day then rise for a few days after results / updates
And this ‘no win, no fee’ insurance cover should be minimal anyway since Enyo Law are already acting on a no win no fee basis. I understand there will be other costs involved for experts, witnesses, evidence etc
The RNS is pretty vague in hows its worded.
Is this ATE insurance going to cover a payout of the potential €656.5 million if AST lose the case? (i highly doubt this)
Or is it simply there to cover the legal costs of this claim incurred by AST in the event of an unsuccessful claim?
And in the event of a successful claim they take a nice % for their efforts obviously.
When they do give the SMR to Rolls Royce look at all the positive PR they will wrangle out of it about British job creation and expertise to export around the world.
It would be a monumental shot in the foot if they give it to a company outside the UK.
I wish MM would shut up with his snide digs at the City.
He was happy to court them when he wished to float the business and happier when it reached £8 for his bonuses.
Just shut up and get on with the business and less of the self flagellation over linkedin to the sycophants.
I noticed national Express have opened a new express route between Dublin and Belfast and managed to sell 12000 tickets in a matter of hours.
the way panr finances are going they wont be able to afford to pay scott for anymore **** posting on 88e forums.
Wonder would an Ocado sale to Amazon get past the competition watchdog.
