I can't help thinking that the oil services sector is one which has really been hammered down to unbelievable low prices. I'm sure this sector is due to rerate soon. I've a big holding here which i've built up over last couple of years & have been building up a holding in WG at the sub 150 levels. The worm has to turn in this sector soon. The infrastructure has suffered huge neglect over the last few years. The world relies on this energy. These are not retail stocks. Patience will prevail here i'm sure. I'll just keep accumulating on the dip days!

As i see it the results were well & truly baked into what is a stupidly low SP for a company like this. Now they are done & out of the way. No great shocks & a fairly decent outlook. Hopefully this might steadily rise to a more respectable SP level over the coming weeks/months!

These results were expected & they told us they wouldn't be great in an update a few months back. It's why it dipped from 160. Not great news but all part of Iskander's policy post SFO to be squeaky clean. There must be loads of contracts waiting for awards in this sector which is awash with money. The mood will change here as soon as one of the big ones drops in PFC's lap!

yes agreed, getting these at around a £1 was a great buy i think. I'd bought a couple of larger tranches at the 109-110 levels after my initial smaller buy at 124. Was shocked to see it hit the £1 tbh but in these markets who knows? could be sub £1 next week or heading back to £2. Bit of patience needed for sure!

The cash position is my only real concern with this share. All the other macro stuff is of course concerning but is affecting everything so specific to OTB i see the cash situation as probably the main worry here. However i'd also expect the last few months to have been the most cash generative for a business like OTB. I guess we'll see this in the numbers before too long but i really can't see why this is trading at it's lowest price since listing 7 years ago.

Very reassuring bounce off the £1 this morning. Let's see if it holds up. Yesterday's drop seemed totally bizarre to me. I looked at the numbers last night. They had £16m cash at end of March. A placing would seem unnecessary unless they've ploughed through all that already. I'm probably over sceptical but we are in strange times at least regarding these markets. On paper this just seems like a screaming buy!

Mind their last placing was only at a 5% discount to the prevailing market price so wasn't too bad. Some of these placing absolutely screw over PIs big time!

They historically seem far happier to tap investors for cash than use the RCF. No liquidity issues here that's for sure as they have that facility but this SP behaviour indicates to me the market is sniffing something like a placing coming!

something smells odd with this complete capitulation. Airlines haven't dropped much today. TUI hasn't dropped much today. This is continuing to tank. Something going on in the background i think. Maybe another placing coming. They're probably burning through their cash at hand. No stranger to placings this one either. we'll see!

Agreed, i think i started buying these too early but sod's law really. I've no doubt this will bounce up big once the sentiment returns. As far as i see it this is a well run business just caught in the maelstrom of issues beyond it's control. If it goes sub £1 i'll be selling other stuff to add here for sure! The company has lost half it's value in just over a month on no share specific news. That is ridiculous!

Personally i find it bizarre how this share is trading at such a low level. Well into all time low territory here. Surely this company is in a better position now than during Covid when people were questioning whether they would ever fly again. I really can't see the next set of numbers being that bad. In fact i expect them to be fairly good! Must be some bad news in the cupboard somewhere otherwise this SP is inexplicable to me!

I'm not in the habit of giving any people advice whether they should buy or sell a share. These are just opinion boards that is all. People need to make their own financial decisions. One bit of advice i will give though is that if you give an ounce of credence to any MF articles you shouldn't invest in stocks & shares. Stick with building society account or premium bonds or something like that. That particular article on THG is so poorly written. Utter nonsense!

A nice easy 20% earner for a day/swing trader or potential 3-4 bagger for an LTH. Can't see much downside from these levels. Let's say it got shorted to 40p? so what. They'll just push it up again. Even the shorters have a floor in the SP where they buy up all the panic sells!

Wow, nearly 300 posts on here today. Few pennies dipped due to cancellation of a Softbank option which everyone knew was never gonna happen. I added some extra this morning at 66p. What a gift at these prices. Then Moulding buys a load too. I'm looking to buy more in the morning as i think the shorts will try it on again. This will turn out to be a nice easy money spinner. Mkt capitalisation is crazy here. Loads of peeps/institutions etc were clambering to buy this all the way up to £8. Screw your heads on folks. This is money for old rope!

That little rise will shoo away the cineworld bottom feeders i'd think! i added a few more at 110. Only buying in small tranches. i'm intrigued what the next update brings. I'm expecting positive stuff here but who knows. I think this is definitely one to buy & hold for a little while!
