RE: Management need to issue some sort of statement soon21 Jun 2022 12:54
Sounds daft but i don't see that much has changed with this company since the IPO. Except the SP of course. I think MM has wound up a lot of City grandees as well. Seems to be a good bit of internal politics & wranglings but when it comes down to the financial numbers they all look reasonably decent in my view!
To say you want to sell @90 maybe 80 but you would buy in again only @sub50 is all a bit of a parody. so if you bought at sub 50 what price would you then sell at?
This share is definitely on a downtrend.Well stating the obvious really but that's what creates the buying opportunity. It downtrended earlier in the year too, flooring @70p in March then straight back up. This may drop below 70 or even further down, who knows? But the falls always reverse at some point & when the falls have ben big the rises can be dramatic too. Personally i've seen nothing recently here to justify these recent drops & i'm convinced that even if it drops a fair bit more, it'll be back up again in no time. If you'd said to peeps on here 3 weeks ago this would be back at 70p soon they'd have thought you were crazy. Sentiment changes very quickly. It'll change here too!
SF, no disrespect to those way underwater but it's a bit nervy buying even at these levels. Seems too good to be true to me so am only buying in fairly modest tranches atm. The sceptic in me is convinced some real crock of bad news is lurking here!
Covid, Omicron, Ukraine war, inflation, interest rates!!! what's the next crock of nonsense to send SPs down & scare PIs to losing their hard earned cash?.Just sit tight the markets will go back up. They always do!
Why didn't people on here who bought at £2.50+ wait until it dropped to 70p? i really can't see anything that has changed in the fundamentals of this business. I'm confident this will rerate unless there are some awful skeletons in the closet. The SP looks crazy based on the numbers IMO!
Got to remember both the dips to 70p (March & last week) were both behind the backdrop of a market wide sell off. I think if the markets are in reasonable mood tomorrow this should see a decent bounce!
I'm sure if this is going to drop further we'll see that happen within the next couple of days. I've only dipped my toe in here thus far. A few grands worth @74p. Looking at significantly increasing that but being a bit cautious here. Something is not adding up for me. Looks a bit too good to be true this price!
well, just in terms of the various acquisitions they've made over the years sub £1bn MC seems quite bizarre. Yes, i agree not much talk of profits but can say the same about plenty of companies in that regard. I think their margins are in the 7% area which seems reasonable enough! I was looking @Superdry. That has never made profits either but SP hasn't behaved like this.
Well i have to say this is one of the most intriguing shares i've followed for some time. Logic says to me this is an absolute screaming buy at this price level. Looking back on trading RNSs. They all seem to be quite positive & upbeat! I remember the day this share floated on the stock market. People just simply couldn't get enough of it. Astonishes me to see how it's fallen from grace so much. Seriously how can a company lose £8bn+ in value over such a short timespan??
If it falls below the 70 level it could take an accelerated tumble. Just IMO, but would definitely be big buy land if it dropped to those levels on the basis of no news!
Rock, where did you get the next support levels to be @55 then 35 from? From a TA perspective you have no data on those numbers. This share is in uncharted waters. i.e near all time low! TA can really only be applied to a share with historic data. Usually pervious supports become resistance & vice versa. This share could go to 55 or even 35, it could bounce straight back to 120+. Fact is you have no evidence for your numbers!
very strange markets is right. PFC is a frustrating one for me as i've been in this for ages it seems & almost back where i originally started.LOL.My 1st buy here was @118 on the Lufkin dip! I think long term this is now a low risk play but it is frustrating to think i could have slice a few couple weeks ago @160 and lapped up some of the huge bargain price out there atm. Ne'er mind i picked up a few THG @74p & Cine @20p yesterday so hopefully see some nice bounces from them. Not sure why oil stocks been hammered though??
