I see we have about £25 over several buys at 22.5p lol but that's not really absorbing it let's be honest.
I am wondering if the placees were hoping to exit on CE Mark AIHL news and talks of £35m revenue? That added 1/2 a penny momentarily.
“We are very excited in the potential of AIHL, which has obtained CE marking in the period, and whilst we are cautious on meeting our short-term revenue expectations, we also remain confident in the long-term potential of the DoD and the HCV markets.”
"genedrive shares fell 9.5p to 11.5p."
Despite the serious lack of performance they then got WHO prequalification and the SP rose around 2700% from that point, David then did a placing and paid himself a £200k bonus as a pat on the back for being cash positive.
2 things:
1. This had several rockets in the last 18 months.
2. Is it actually completely legal to pay yourself a bonus in this way?
Given how misleading its all been and the deliberate and what seems to be an intentional lack of wilful clarification from Walbrook - isn't it all a bit criminal and if so why are people just sitting on heavy losses waiting to fix that by averaging down? AIM isn't particularly regulated, thats a given, but if you have invested based on certain 'facts' and then those facts have turned out to be, how shall I put it, inaccurate, surely there's some comeback?
Yea it's risky. If company gets results on AIHL and POC there's nothing to worry about. If they don't then sinking in more cash seems daft. Around 25m shares to off load. Indian approval saw 10m in volume so it will take some doing. Clarity on ii needed but they still haven't updated the website which is dodgy. Ask Anna at Walbrook, shell probably say that's forward looking and also to get fked.
Yea got dished a little while ago. Shame FDA takes so long or there might be an op. Be good to know the PHE lab result for GDR, if GDR paid for the privilege or if PHE were keen to see and get a decent POC onboard. GDR are ahead of the game on POC as there aren't many out there. GDR taking their time but getting it right now the industry is scrutinising tests more puts them in a strong position - in theory, but we know the problems.
They'll be self sufficient if/when AIHL launches into Europe. If forecasted POC sales are factual then it rerates on that. The POC is much more applicable in the current climate.
BOD will release something to clear placing shares. They'll be under more pressure from them then any PI.
@maestro Fincap forecast POC sales this year. More clarity around who when and where would help. But I guess the details on that are forward looking despite already being forecast lol. Makes me cry :'(''
LTH14 They want £2m to launch in the US and obtain FDA. FDA can take up to 12 months as standard practice. It couldn't be bothered to look at a world class PCR during a pandemic, why would they consider the AIHL? UK and EU is a big enough market for little Genedrive. Better to use profits from sales to grow rather than digging a bigger debt hole. America will drain this particular cohort into oblivion. If AIHL is a sucess it will be big enough here and the EU, if it's not then whats the point of blowing another £2m save for the board enjoying some business class trips to the states?
They have lied and mislead. They will need something more than PI money to buy their institutional mates shares as has been proven by the failed open offer. They will want to protect their inflated salaries now and the only way to do that is to deliver. When you state people don't understand how a medical company works your a likely largely correct, but what most here will know is that if your costs exceed your total revenue then its an absolute non-starter. AIHL has been in the making for 3 years, they are about to launch and not a single press release - explain that? SP has been in the tightest range for years while forward selling is attempted - explain that?
Corrupt as fk.
Debt was cleared with placings which also left enough cash in the bank for the 'cash in bank amount' bonus to be paid. David gave himself a cool £200k bonus for that one. Bit like me saying can you lend me 500k for a house, buying the house for 400k, spunking the rest on a 911 and then the best part, not actually paying you back. But what I will do is give myself a pat on the back for being so mortgage free. Pretty sure they'll qualify for more cash level bonuses after that raise, not to mention the additional raised from 'the supporters' who took place in the open offer (madness).
