Just a genuine thanks to those of you that have done some major research over the months and years, and been willing to share FACTS with us. I've done my own reading also, but some of the things that have been explained here has been invaluable, and convinced me this was where it could be at. Really appreciated, and you guys/gals know who you are.
Enjoy the ride folks..lift off has begun!
After dabbling 12years ago with VOG and losing a few hundred, I started again on the dips after the lockdown. Bought into HEMO 2months ago, and EUA last week. I'm a novice and to say my heart is racing today is an understatement!!
Wow that came from out of nowhere! Great news, but...there are no financials yet so don't you think that will temper any gains ? Only one direction though from now on, hopefully. Maybe this is the first of a few RNS this week before the Q&A..
Good luck everyone, enjoy the afternoon!
I've only been a holder for the past couple of days, and did a sizeable purchase this morning at 20.7p.
Do you hear me moaning? No. I've read enough to convince me this is worth the risk.
This Sam guy/gal has held for 6 hours and moaning already. I'm sure the LTH's have endured a lot of worry over the past few months so let them enjoy it. I'm sure we newbies can put up with the 'shares can go up and down' mantra for a little while so Sam, please stop complaining. If you want your money to start earning as soon as you invest, then perhaps shares aren't for you and you ought to consider a guaranteed interest rate savings account. However, you and all of us know that you'll never have the chance to recoup as much as you might if a share goes well. So if you take the risk, then let it ride. To expect a return within the day of your investment is pretty unrealistic.
If you can call the top and bottom of a price on the day you want invest then your a pretty special person!! If you can get close, then surely that's good enough.
I'm just glad to be involved in something that is already life changing for some of you, and obviously hoping I can share a bit of success too. Well done and good luck all!
I'm sure some of you will have seen this already, but during my searches about the stock since stumbling upon it last Thursday (well done to you LTH's - bravo!), I found this write up....
https://community.freetrade.io/t/deep-dive-eurasia-mining/16374
which explains, in fairly straightforward terms, the business, the potential value, flanks etc. I'm not saying it's all 100% accurate, I can't be sure. Some of you more experienced with the stock may well know, but it appears a good read for the likes of myself and any new investors to get their heads around. Hope this helps a few of you.
Good luck everyone, LTH and new. We're all here for the same basic reasons so keep smiling and enjoy the ride!
Best of luck, cheers
Thank you for the info and the kind thought to put this out for newbies such as myself.
Very much appreciated.
I stumbled upon this last night whilst reading the boards, and decided to sell out of PMO, which was/is heading south, to invest here. Short term initally until I either are happy with a return, or deeply understand the stock and decide to stay longer term. Your info helps my thought process a great deal, so many thanks from me.
Good luck all and kind regards
Yep, no argument with anyone's reasoning. We all have different objectives, need cash at different times etc etc.
FWIW I sold out to invest short term elsewhere this morning, and its 12% up already so I'm happy!
Best wishes to you all.
Can anyone offer any help to explain why, when trying to sell, it often comes up as a negotiated order and doesn't let you sell immediately? I use the Halifax platform btw. I kinda get it when purchasing now and again, but don't understand why it happens on sales.
Might be right, might be wrong, but I'm out this morning.
Sold the rest of my holding for a total 54% profit in 4 weeks. Should have been more if I'd reacted earlier but not greedy, it is what it is. I never expected such a return in such a short time anyway so I'm de-stressing and leaving PMO for a while.
Decided last night that I do not want to be in over the weekend so bit the bullet and jumped.
Good luck to all whatever you choose to do.
I wish I'd done it with RDSB the other week too!! LOL :-)
Cheers Ferret,
Yep I knew you were short. Some of your observations have alerted me to consider things I had never even heard of. And likewise with other users of the board. I think some of the issue for a lot of people, and particularly one I wrestled with, was/is that quite a few are holding from low entry prices so don't necessarily want to sell out and lose the low entry point that they will be possibly never be available again. In the end after missing the absolute high, watching it drop a little, then raise again, i decided that I would accept the lower overall return by selling part of my stake, in order to settle my nerves. I can now happily watch it ride as I don't NEED to recoup my stake. I'm a novice at this anyway so don't want to get too ahead of myself! LOL
