Read a full-page article on our Energy Market and the recent capacity auction in MoneyWeek yesterday, headlined 'Britain's energy policy mess'. Didn't mention Plutus by name but stated the details of the auction completed @ £18 per kilowatt. Centrica, SSE and Drax were awarded 46.35Gigawatts(GW) and 1.9GW to power plants still to be built, with 1.1GW to diesel-plants like ours. It states these diesel-fired plants can be installed fast and are transportable(typically built into shipping containers). They can reach full load very quickly, typically 10 - 15 seconds from switch-on. However, it states they are very polluting when in operation but are a necessary evil while we phase out polluting coal plants and uncompetitive gas-fired ones. It states that it is not a long-term solution. It states the Sunday Times says 95 firms have submitted 150 planning applications for new 'diesel farms' - so we're not alone in this game, but IMO looks like this electricity generation is needed, even if rarely used, for at least the next 10 years or more.

This is a massive injection of funds but of course massive dilution by tripling the shares in issue (approx). Fully underwritten so they'll get them all away @ 4p whether anyone else wants any or not besides Griffiths and Waterford. MM's seem to like it as we're up 9.52% on zero trades since RNS.

but we don't care ! - I've already come up with this infamous Millwall chant but I've another analogy : Imagine going to a festival and there's fantastic bands on, all sorts of food, drink, etc., great sunny day - but you still need the row of toilets out in the field. Without those dirty things the festival would disintegrate into chaos. ------------------------------------------------------- Copout - don't think we've got any of the serial rampers on here, unless you count me(!), so we might need to wait a while before getting back towards 2p which I have little doubt we will within a few months. You'll probably get your 1.25p target even sooner.

Yep, certainly not much happening sp wise, even most of the trades appear to be Sells - nowt so queer as folk. Beggars belief really, perhaps people would have preferred us to win zero contracts in the Capacity Market Auction, then they'd all pile in - lol.

Note from Elartu's post on Dec 8th and his link to Bristol 24/7, we withdrew planning applications in Bristol for 2 sites at 'Lockleaze and St Philips' - that looks to me that we didn't have permission yet and we decided they looked troublesome. Perhaps we then took these 2 sites off our original 9 sites applying in the Capacity Mech auction? ------------------ Elsewhere, I would like to report my oldest daughter has now snaffled a few more into her Junior ISA unbeknownst to her.

From the RNS 21st Oct, we got 2 mgmt contracts for a further 2 sites taking the number of these to 7. These types of sites we apply for Planning Permission for and then, hopefully, build. We recently withdrew a Bristol application so are we now looking for another, presumably in or near Bristol, site? In this same RNS it states, we will apply for 9 sites to be entered into the Capacity Mechanism auction. Of these, I gather we have now won 3 contracts in the auction. Yep, going to delist from Aim soon after Dec 23. IMO there won't be much of a 'rally' (lol) and I think I'll wait until they give me my £26, then I won't need to pay dealing costs.

If they decide to take every one within 6 months we all get.....0.32p per share - oh, wow, my £26 is safe. After 6 months, we revalue before paying us off - maybe £30 for me !

Not bust just totally diluted to blithering. New shares issued @ 0.32p, so I suppose that's the marker. Apollo and Yorkville very happy to get their money back - PI's basically shafted although I suppose everyone can/will blame the oil price.

2 through Rockpool - probably these 2 qualified for EIS investments just in time? 3rd one is our majority-owned baby so interesting to hear soon how that pans out. Do I understand correctly with our model that we get these contracts and then try to find suitable sites, start the planning procedures etc.? If it happens, as did recently, a site is rejected or abandoned, we then find a more suitable site?

3 X 20 MW sites and each brings in £360k per annum. Last statement by CEO stresses these 'dirty' machines are only operational a very short period of time when extra capacity needed. "successfully received Capacity Mechanism ('CM') contracts for three 20MW sites in the UK. The clearing price of £18,000 per MW per year for 15 years is in excess of PPG's forecast. Therefore each operational 20MW site awarded a CM contract will receive £360,000 per annum for a period of 15 years from 2019. The clearing price is index linked to the consumer price index ('CPI') from the date of award of the CM contract." As you say NMH19 - "now about that re-rate....."
