Lots of questions being asked of what's going on and where do we go from here and people asking themselves what are they still doing here. Don't think anyone has questioned the fantastic optimisation of the Feasability Study - the potential is there for all to see. The huge liquidity that suddenly started Mon pm and then from the off on Tue at 8 am remains unexplained. It seems very clever how the market started Buying if someone wanted to dump up to 22.4m (China non-ferrous). A rise was certainly created first. Anyway, looking for a 'Holdings RNS' and a Dekel interview (ProActive?) before jumping to any conclusions. Anyone want to sell while they don't know some facts and the project looks far more attractive than ever - they're welcome to.

Pity with such a fantastic 'optimisation' we have obviously got a 'Seller'. 'Holdings' will tell the story, and if we don't get that type of RNS, it's just pi's being suspicious and putting 2 & 2 together and getting 5 ! The funding/JV/Sale is the thing we're waiting for - at least we're not waiting for the DFS any longer.

CEO has about 32% already but Dicky Tjokrosaputro Director has about 8% - he should want a decent price. jollygoodya - takeover code - think you're way off with that speculation. He hasn't been buying lately and he doesn't need to match any price in the last 12 months - that's my thoughts.

Well if China Non-Ferrous Gold are selling out, we'll get their Holdings soon. They had 8.23% in September, that's 22.4m !

Well we're all pretty well agreed then about the point Dibs made about the full sign-off from NERIN. Sod 'em.

Does seem strange about giving up on a full sign off for the DFS. The company aren't disclosing the full extent of the problems/discussions on completion of the DFS and now they've said, "Thank you for your thorough work but we are now pulling it". Very odd and perhaps, as you say, we are not going forward with a Chinese backer. We never disclosed the name of any possible Chinese partner and Dekel now states, "A financial advisor will be appointed in due course to support the Company's ongoing conversations with interested parties. One mining group has already conducted thorough due diligence." Presumably, the group who have conducted thorough due diligence are still interested as this is surely implied. 'ongoing conversations with interested parties' suggests we've got more than one fish biting too. Perhaps the Chinese were never going to pay a decent price and this was what Dekel concluded and they were simply delaying and delaying on the over-conservative DFS with little further benefit to Chaarat. I think it is fair to infer we aren't likely to get a Chinese partner/takeover in the near future, or are we calling their bluff? In Feb we declared we couldn't keep waiting without publishing and now we've gone one step further. Thank goodness that monkey is off our back now and the 'reality of the project', as Dekel puts it, is out there for all to see.

They said they'd been busy and some massive savings identified (begs the question were NERIN and co. building up costs to make purchase price lower?!?). Initial Capex Saving identified : $214m Life Capex Saving : $252m New IRR : 24.82% (from 15.3%) Brilliant !

We're in an offer period by the CEO - no figures discussed. Back from Monday's suspension. Wouldn't think he'd be wanting to pay top dollar.

That reduction of Capex is exactly what they are doing now. They are trying to optimise a lot of the expenditure to bring this down and I'm sure they will by a factor of 25% or more. It sort of begs the question, has all this time and money spent on the DFS been worth it? It's now released in final draft form and we're not happy with a lot of the Capex estimates resulting in a lower IRR. We are on the Chinese route so we've had them develop the DFS to their standards (and in their language) to attract Chinese money. If that doesn't materialise perhaps we have wasted some time. Who knows what all this volume is about (we're even over 2m today, after 14m yesterday) but IMO there will be a BIG RNS one day fairly soon and I've always said DFS AND JV/Sale/Funding simultaneously. --------------------- Ariel - think you could well be right about the Twitter gang - there were a lot of punters diving in on there on the volume spike.

I'm ignoring these millions traded and reversed, reported today - they add up to zero anyway. Still there has been today 1.6m Aim trades plus 142k on ISDX - way above normal levels. Not able to work out what's going on except looks quite possible a lot of traders got sucked into the volume spike and are now nearly all out again. 5% of the company was traded yesterday by volume - perhaps there will be an explanatory Holdings RNS, but I doubt there is any proper reason for the sudden activity. Big Sell in the background to be reported; Labro (Fasanara) selling; doubt either of these scenarios. Still holding. Got nothing back from Linda since I mentioned to her around 11 am yesterday that the volume was spiking.

14m traded today including 1m on ISDX - probably the All-time daily high. Perhaps there were some major trades floating around shares between brokers but can't explain everything. 700k traded on Monday was the start of this deluge and then a 2m late reported trade today. What's going on? Someone on Advfn said maybe forward selling of a coming placement, but that isn't in the usual ways of Chaarat. Maybe there has been some big player (then joined by traders) getting a major stake? That then triggered a bit of moving around stock by brokers? Maybe there is a big seller, but there seems to be big demand too. Maybe an RNS tomorrow - Holdings or something that might explain today. Unbelievable volume yet next to no sp movement.

Don't start saying rude things on here. If they are going to dump their 25% Holding we'll all be crying.

Think that starts to explain a few possibilities. The Trade looks like a Sell @ 7p at 9:59 am when the spread was 7.2 - 7.25. So, suddenly there was 2.5m put on the market @ 7p at 9:59 this morning. By whom? Anyway, late surge of trading now - Total Volume today so far is 10.6m on Aim and 1m on ISDX. Possibly an all time record? Probably not.

trader interest today. Whoever was buying straight from the bell never gave up until about 10:31 and then they'd trousered 5m. Then people got to notice and traders were pouring in for a while and then quite a lot got out again. Will we hear anything or will this day just go down as the largest day for 12 months(or more) and quickly be forgotten? Time will tell.

Reckon it's a good sign that there is interest, that something is afoot, that suddenly 7m shares can trade. Just a good omen as to what might happen when we have some really good news to celebrate. Still reckon there was over 6m Buys to less than 1m Sells.

About 6.5m shares Bought About 0.5m Sold It'll balance out one day.
