The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
It really does not matter day to day what the SP is at the moment. What matters is the outcome of the whole testing process - for which end of 2018 will reveal, how good, or how ordinary or poor the completed analysis delivers.

It will be when it will be.
JBG - just stop your deramping. Right now Holmwood is well down UKOG's priorities.
It is a delayed trade, which given the SP rise today, suggests that it could well have been a buy (e.g possibly a short closing). Either way, the transaction has been factored into the subsequent trades.
Excellent news - roll-on the Portland results and K layers testing !!
Aviz. Lots of layers - and this period is key, assuming both a Portland and K layers commercial for putting together plan for production then waiting for approvals.
My take is 7 trades of which 3 very small buys, 3 moderate sells, and one larger sell.
So what value did your post deliver?
Dallas - if you do not care about the investments made by KDNC then I suggest you sell up and go away. The reality here is that it will be some considerable time before these investments the level of significant gains required to materally cause the MCAP and SP to rerate.
Last year they came out on Monday 4th September - so maybe this year Monday 3rd September. INMHO OCT is undervalued right now - so lets see what come out formally in the results.
nothing to do with Brexit.
Germans are buying, and folk are selling on AIM !
SB I do not follow your logic that PRIM et al sold at an undervalued price. As they largely got shares - then they preserve their value - ie if bad news - value of stake falls,if good news (as many expect) value increases.
Just a large rollover. Zero sum game.
Personally, I think that one of the important points from today's announcement is that it is now in Black and White for the TZ authorities that KIBO has serious and expert partners. So again maybe another step in addressing issues raised ahead of TZ signoff. Time will tell.
!
It is a cancellation of a previous trade, at the midpoint of the ask/bid.
The key points are (i) what the forecast level of production will be. I personally have no doubt Portland zone is commercial - but a big difference between say 80 BOPD and say 350+ BOPD.
(ii) the real prize (or disappointment) will be what can be produced by authorised means from the K layers. That will ultimately make of break the MCAP.
Well, INMHO, irrespective of today's fiinish, this is a good time to buy in or top-up. DYOR - and look at the recent RNSs. The Zim Diamond prospect looks really good for the longer term.
