The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
I personally trust SS's judgement much more than random posters on this board - particularly those who have often had a generally negative viewpoint. Genuine LTHs are in for the long game INMHO.
That would be an excellent outcome for LTHs
Stuart033 The key point from the fracking case news today is that it does show that there is an appetite by UK plc to seek oil and gas. So for me that fact that oil is flowing is fine - at some future point UKOG (and others) will get to production. As I not a trader am not worried by current SP or that next week etc...
A flare of Sounders !
bmsavings - it would help if you reported the RNS correctly. it is FRR enforcing legal action against Outrider - not the other way around as you presented.
As you clearly have a negative view of this company based on your recent flurry of posts, suggest you look elsewhere for your investment returns.
"On 11 October 2018, the Company and its fully-owned subsidiary, Frontera International Corporation, filed an action in the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands in relation to the loan notes issued by Frontera International Corporation to Outrider Master Fund L.P. in 2016 and due in 2020. On the same date, the Court granted the Company's request for an injunction regarding the security underlying the notes pending the outcome of the dispute. The Company intends to vigorously assert its rights. The Company will provide further updates as they become available."
The 'market' is often wrong - that is why folk can make good money on AIM.
Hmm. I have been a holder in FRR for about 4.5 years, and remember the SP at both nearer 1.5p and at circa 0.06p.
Whilst I did get into a good profit, the recent drop in SP wrong footed me a little as I did further top up in expectation of future gains, when the SP recently re-entered the 0.6-0.7p range. With some recent further purchases I am near to break even, so do not have an axe to grind, and am happy to remain patient.
So, whilst I would be delighted to see a SP at above 6p, and indeed would help me significantly support some other family members, I have learnt on AIM that theoretical valuations are only rarely achieved, and the timescales much longer than apparent common sense valuation may suggest.
So my conservative prediction is that no deal will be achieved before sometime later in Q1 or Q2 next year, so Christmas / end December share price likely still to be sub 1p. But very happy to be proved wrong, as I am well aware that my time invested here pales compared with many other LTHs - and their conviction on his company has been a source of much encouragement in the darker times. I would also be very happy, if a sudden rerate upwards dealt a permanent lesson to a number of major shorters (and particularly those who may have naked short).
..
Really excellent findings
yrabsmurruc - What is the rush ? - as VAST continues to develop its business nicely, in time this will reflect in SP. The direction of travel for the business is very positive.
A great day, but further results to come. In due course the financial columns of the Telegraph, and The Times will need to eat humble pie.
grading - if you look at the right BB (ie BCN) you will find the RNS:

An excellent video
This is also worth INHO a listen:

Suggest you check for RNSs
* So do not try to speak for them (LTH)
Brocal I note that your current avatar is quite recent and yet you have already clocked up over 100 posts. Many LTH have already done very well - so do try to speak for them. The journey from oil exploration to production is a long one, but wise investment timing can make it very profitable. Patience is key. Too many traders and STH looking for gold at the end of the rainbow and posting nonsense (ALL INMHO)
Hmm. It is a delayed trade, so we do not really know of it was a buy, as many in this thread suppose, or a sell, which may explain the SP fall. Either way it matters little. For me, the RNS today was good, even if in practice it just confirmed what we know. Little by little, the risk is slowly declining. Much patience still required, but progress is being made.
over at UKOG !
each other in the back. Real money will come for LTH as the Weald play develops over the next 2-3 years. Meanwhile we will still see the squealing from traders who got their timing wrong, and those trying to manipulate the short term SP.
