A bit of after-timing there, you would have more credibility if you posted before rather than after the event.

ESG is all about keeping today's woke people happy. It is a nonsense to expect companies to achieve this as making profiits is generally contrary to social and environmental benefits.
There should be a strong regulatory framework to ensure ESG commitments are made.

VP. Where do you get the info that OCDO is a heavily shorted share. According to the FCA tracker there is only 1 notifiable short at 0.51%. This compares to the likes of Cineworld at 8.9%.

It's lost nearly 20% in the last month, not sure how that's a trader's dream.

Treacle, I agree that FXPO is a long way below it's high but that has been driven by the iron ore price.
FXPO is one of my best investments along with OCDO, catch it right and there are excellent profits to be made.
The difference with OCDO is that it is highly profitable and pays excellent dividends.

I have shares in FXPO, a Ukrainian based iron ore producer and these are up 31% in the last 3 weeks which would indicate the market is not too concerned about a Ruskie takeover.

If the share price goes up 5% and you sell 5% of your holding then the assets won't run out. You should look at total return, not just dividends.

Yep, I have invested based on positive momentum.

Correct Halma, if you had followed the 200MA rule you would have got out in the 20s and saved yourselves big losses.

I still wouldn't buy back yet, the current 200MA is £18 so a way to go yet.

Technology stocks have struggled recently, hopefully that will change.

I am in based on good recent momentum. Having said that momentum strategies have gone off the boil in the last year or so, we shall see.

Maybe not. Daily movements are just noise, you need to look at longer timescales for a true trend.

It seems to be affecting all good momentum stocks, HLMA is down 22% this month.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to brokers, they are generally optimistic and have price targets 25% above the current price.
