As you say, the trading update on the 24th will be the next key catalyst — for better or worse. But we also need to consider the broader setup: global indices are stretched, sentiment is fragile, and Trump’s renewed tariff rhetoric (which rather conveniently coincides with the Epstein files fallout) could easily trigger a broader correction. If that happens, Wizz gets dragged down with the rest, regardless of what’s in the update.
On the point of realism' — it wasn’t aimed at you specifically, more a reflection of the general tone here lately. You’ve got DavidK (the resident wizz board paid poster) and Pogostick (who just seems to be lonely and seeking attention) claiming Wizz is heading to a 8-9 quid, while others seem overly optimistic about the short-term upside. Everyone’s entitled to their view but I believe the true opportunity usually lies somewhere in the middle
