B777 I struggle to see how you can say Varadi is doing a good job here? I undersatand the challenges re; P&W, however his stakeholder management skills have a lot to be desired and he seems to be a figure of fun amongst the analyst communiity who have no confidence in his ability to run the company? It has been one broken promise after another for some time now? I don't know if you dialled into the conference call in June but it was embarrassing, both himself and the CFO seemed to be totally out of their depth and it was quite frankly a laughable performance.

I am invested here @ 1083 and I hope to see a rebound coming as wizz is a rinse and repeat play for the hedge funds/institutions, however the update on the 24th is key here? If we don't see good results, forward guidance and a level of confidence on the call, this will easily sink another 10% and the hedge funds/institutions will just increase their short positions and the downward spiral will continue.

I wish you good luck as with other LTH who have been burnt of late.....but there does need to be a sense of realism here..

Agree with Kpal, classic liquidity sweep, scare retail to sell, and buy in, 100k+ buy after the sweep this morning and share price recovers.

Pogo, its pretty obvious you have too much time on your hands and want to get a reaction but give it a rest as you're not really adding anything constructive ......and congrats on your ITV investment....1 year return of 3.5%….oracle like investing….

The share sale concluded on 26th of June and would have taken place over the weeks prior (to the 26th) so this is essentially old news that is reflected in the share price 'as is'. The RNS was issued because it crossed the 10% threshold (11.8% > 9.9%)

@Garydav its only a difficult hold if you are very short term? Ive got in at 1083 and I will hold and trade on the normal wizz fluctuations. Between 10-11 is a great rice long term!

@anon I get where you’re coming from but this is how the market works..…..and to confirm I don’t think 9/11 was fake or chemtrails are real….

@anon3 wizzair is a low liquidity share, the price is getting driven down by the MMs to allow the shorts to gradually exit their positions (they all work together)...this is normal practice and part of the accumulation phase, drop the price, retail sell providing liquidity and the institutions buy in and close their positions at a low price. They will then go long buying in hard...I think you need to do some research 'methinks'

Shorts are reducing, this is typical behaviour to keep pressure on price action and scare retail to sell so they can close their positions and then go long. Good luck all.

Frank6 I can't be sure, I am just stating my thoughts/position, Don't take it as advise and please don't listen to most of the clowns on this forum as they're clueless.

Everyone is stressing but today is evidence of a 'managed' (manipulated) exit for the shorts, the MMs, brokers and hedge funds all work together and will exit their short positions and go long....ask yourself the question why wizz got held back but all other airline stocks increased a lot more?

Answer - They hav'nt got a c6% short position with low liquidity....

Don't sell just hold and wait for the near term BIG bounce.

It looks like they are long on the 4.39% and lending out the 2.92% (probably to short sellers). Bit of hedging and fee generation + long exposure. I could be wrong though so don't quote on this.

Understand Robbren58, sometimes messages can be taken the wrong way/out of context so apoligise, on the RNS, assume Blackrock reduced their position from 7.52% to 6.79% over the period and below 5% as of Tuesday.

Robbren58...I was just trying to help you out, you should like an angry 10 yr old most of the time. Lighten up as not everyone on the board is trying to get one over on you.

The numbers you shared were incorrect so was providing the correct numbers for you as you said you didn't understand the RNS.

Nobody really knows what will happen here but I wouldn't be surprised to see this hitting 10-1050 before shorts start to even think about reducing, it really was such a poor set of results and a shambles of a conference call where the only word to describe the performance of the CEO/CFO was pure incompetence, they are totally out of their depth and the downward spiral of the share price demonstrates this.

@Pogo, 1133 is an all-time low not just yearly...I knew this would get smashed on results but not by this much...not looking good with the increased short positions either. Hope a recovery comes soon as imagine a lot of holders down a great deal. Worth a punt at these prices even it it drops abit more.

Conference call going well.......they are is incompetent, no clarity at all!
