BM, thanks for your hopes. I keep writing this rubbish and wonder if anyone actually reads it. At time of writing, just caught the futures on Doomburg and thought, duh. Maybe even oops. I've built key sector strengths into the projection which should over-ride underlying trends. Every time I ignore my sums and go on gut, I've been wrong so lets see how stupid I look by close Wednesday. And I cannot trend AIM. Too many volatiles for anything to be accurate. The major mining sector looks strong tomorrow (which is odd given the usual monthly trends) Anyone else reading this thread, please comment.

Okay, I've sussed where I went wrong and how to fix it. My calculations are all biased toward escaping a SP when it maxes but forget the market can also move upward. None of the sell warnings given were from key market sectors and thus, became void when the over-riding sentiment took over. However, anyone not in key sectors would have felt some pain today. (I did) I'm going to avoid posting trends for a few days while I build logical key sector influence into my sums... The key sectors are not suggesting the market will move down Tuesday - simply suggesting Tuesday will be flat.

Drawing board for sale... The suggestion was that the market would open UP today (it did) and spend the day retracing (it didn't, quite impressively) Still in shock as that's the first serious failure in my system. Once again, my read for tomorrow is for the market to open UP, then firmly retrace. Let's see how wrong I can be. Oh, if anyone has noticed the disparity in the number of shares being analysed, it's to do with the volume/cost mix. Essentially, if trades are under 10k in total, a parameter filters that share. OldFool13, generally I don't understand some of the rubbish I write Kidding aside, there's no point in me doing this if I'm speaking gibberish. My wife often berates me for providing "proof" that she cannot understand (she's female so has a small brain... and will read this around 0740 ), so my skin is quite tough in that department. What is the core info you want to know? I suspect ADMIN will not want me posting the actual lists of shares with what I define as alerts but I'm happy to comment on what looks like happening the next day. My (probably erroneous) basis is that everyone simply wants to spend a penny and know the chances are that they'll get more back quickly. And if the trend looks like being down, don't spend that penny!

Anyone who's been reading my mumblings in Premium will have noticed I'm developing analysis software to try and figure out the short term trend for the market. Obviously, it's my ambition to STOP investing and START trading, thus reducing my dependence on charting. At time of writing, around 60% of my capital is "invested" hence my need for something better for trending. Since June, I've been collating daily market data for the All Share and the AIM and finally feel I'm generating some results. One thing I've noticed is that trending is more concise when one concentrates on intraday Highs and Lows rather than just looking at the SP. As a result, I've build an RSI on the movements corollating the Open Price and High of the Day which is proving useful. I'm intending to post scan results at the close daily which should hopefully give a clue as to where we're going. Please feel free to comment. Also, I'm avoiding mentioning specific shares as I feel that could be dangerous - I'm happy to take my own advice but ...

How do I add the Premier Chat relating to a share to the dashboard please? That would be the only reason I'd use such an app. though it is nice to keep a weather eye on a batch of regular shares at once. Don't know about the rest of the PC crew but I tend to currently keep an eye on comments by simply clicking the top Share Chat tab on the current screen and scanning the lists. I do like the #2 option given as I'd no longer find myself filtering shares I'm actually in due to the 'quality of the multiple postings'
