BM, At risk of sounding more paranoid, it looks like the media are being encouraged to give precedence to 'down' stories such as Global Warming, Dubai, honest MP's etc. Private Eye is one of the few publications which picks up on the actual news and prints it on page three. A recent 'Global Warming' story, the fact the passage through the Arctic was open for shipping was a case in point. Not a single newspaper mentioned that a Norwegian shipping co had been using the passage since the 1940's as that would have spoiled the story. One might even suspect this is being done to advance the manifesto of the Lisbon Treaty - bring the UK into it then weaken the UK enough to make it sane to become part of the euro. As I said, paranoid, me?

OF13 I'm really quite concerned as the official derampers seem to be firmly in control of things these days. It has become obvious SP's are being controlled tightly over the last few months where broader movements totally defy logic. The recent "ahem, the bank bailout didn't cost HMG 50Bn but only a potential 10bn' failed to do anything for the market, not did the fact RBS sold 7bn of debt in the USA in November. And the "UK is no longer in recession" story has not made the front pages at all. The rules have changed. Buy a bigger 4WD but DYOR...

Moosh, On Green Gorilla's, if you draw a line through two greens which are posted (within a one week period) you are given a trend line which works.

'Sage' pointed out to me in 2008 that ramping/deramping is not a practice restricted to bulleting boards. Did anyone notice the wee 'ahem' from the Office of National Stats on Thursday where they admitted that their estimated figures were the third quarter were wrong and the corrected real figures show that the UK has actually exited the official criteria for recession, leaving Spain the only EU country in the merde. Oddly, the media have not picked it up as they are more concerned about my V8 engined car for some made up reason. So, what will happen to the market when the official stats about UK recession make the media front page. I suspect it will perhaps twitch upwards breaking the holding pattern everything seems trapped in. Any thoughts, anyone? Oh, my V8 is a 4WD as I expect an ice age...

Moosh, Dunno about you but I'm not happy with the 'feel' of things at present. Too many of the usual things are not working out for me (aka not making money) Today I stalked LGEN carefully, got my green gorilla's at 74.6 (10 or 15 min mode) but gut said no. By using 5k, I would have made about 15 quid net from the movements - or locked my funds on their own private holiday until the next cycle. Strange days.

That's the AIM list - I thought HRCO were in the FTSE AS. (which is another 120 item listing for the sub 15% ers. Alternatly, if HRCO's volumes are less then 10k or there have been no trades for 6+ days, I'm probably filtering them I'll look at providing a link to a website where my entire end of day .csv's can be downloaded daily if reqd. I'm analysing on RSI, price trend, volume change, RSI trend, intraday range, so the .csv reports have a few columns, along with pre-programed comments. I've written this software for my own uses but would welcome input.

Perhaps I should change the wording for this sort of movement today to "very high catastrophic downward pressure!" Guess the news about Dubai is causing some concerns... Scan as at 10:50am reads similar to above though downward logical pressure had eased slightly. Apparently.
