Morning Quady.. All these people that claim it’s about to be sold… that Solgold are deep in discussions to sell, might want to ask themselves why we even presented at PDAC if that was the case..

We have not done any regional exploration drilling for over a year…. We have curtailed everything… and for circa 6 months while we do the SR… how is hat acceptable? And our board continue to drag their feet…

How about explain what the near term plans are for exploration drilling?

How about give investors and potential investors a guide as to when the SR is due to complete? Explain why takes over 6 months for a small explorer to complete a strategic review… we are not a huge multinational conglomerate with hundreds of divisions.. it shouldn’t take 6 weeks..

How about give some clear details?

He stood up there and basically spoke for 15 minutes without actually saying anything. Like listening to a footballer being interviewed.

“Essentially, things are great now… gee guys, we are now focused, so so focused… we are now more efficient, and we are going to things better… things are gonna be better.. more efficient… we’ve got a great team.. the lads back there, they are just swell… and there’s Nick… he found it…. Great guy…. We have lots of regionals… lots of em.. and we are getting more efficient, we are gonna do things better… and biggly.. thanks for listening to my presentation”

To be fair, there was nothing of any substance in this presentation at all… lots of generic fluff and repetition..

Nothing at all about restarting any exploration… yeah, he said we are explorers not builders a few times, but so what… everyone with just half a brain already knows that..

so we are still just an explorer, currently doing zero exploration, and with no specific near future exploration plans announced. It was just the same tired once over, of a presentation we and everyone in that room, have seen many times before..

does anyone know if there is a stream of Scotts presentation?

If we continue to rise tomorrow, there will be people taking their profits at the end of the week, no doubt... and cant argue with that if they bought in around 13p..

I have to admit, I am now checking every morning for that RNS with much more anticipation than I used to......

Surely something has to happen here soon, given how long we have been busy behind the scenes trying to work out a suitable monetisation of Cascabel.... now control of ENSA is resolved... We cant all be waiting too much longer before we at least get a SR update? I'm frustrated yes, but things must be well under way by now, and after all the years of waiting and waiting, hopefully the next few months could be worth it..

They cant possibly present the usual, bland, seen and heard it all in multiple years before, presentation this week can they?? Surely our new management would not do that after castigating the old one for feet dragging and poor performance?

I admit, I am extremely weary with our board, and stopped paying any attention to the presentations a while back, but I am genuinely interested to see/watch this weeks.....

I would expect our man to sound equally bullish and bombastic as in recent announcements about new management etc, but if they are deep in negotiating a sale/monetisation event, and all other regional work is suspended, and has been since last January, what exactly is there to present? Everyone in that room will already know of our first mover advantage, of our portfolio of regionals, of our ESG work...... Equally, everyone in that room will already know of our continued failure to get anywhere...

So what exactly will we present? Its been a while since I've been this interested to see what Solg have to say at an mining event.

what Nick Mather wants, and what Nick may actually have to settle for could be 2 very different values..

It has been said, its very timely for Irwin to have a supposed slip of the tongue, the day before CGP holders are free to exit their long held positions and dump on the market..

But as I have said multiple times over the last couple of years…. Never underestimate our managements ability to fail to close a deal..

In years gone by, such a slip by anyone connected to the senior management would see a 5-10p rise over be next week….

Morning fort… it all sounds nice, and obviously we would all like this to happen.. starting with a sale of Ensa at circa 50p…. But how did you get to valuing the new company at circa 150-200 million.. right now, the regionals are only given a nominal value… including Porvenir… who’s PEA was just canned, presumably because of poor figures after a promising start…

Beyond.. not behind

When it comes to the idea of a new company spun out, that has all the regionals in it… people seem to forget, or ignore, or not take in to account, the circa 450 million dollars of spending commitments that are contractually attached to these tenements…. Any company spun out, immediately inherits those same financial commitments.. and those tenements already have, use them or lose them, time limitations on them..

Our managements years of endless dawdling and feet dragging has consequences behind just Cascabel.

We will soon find out how many cornerstone investors just want to cash out ASAP now they are able to, after being stuck with iliquid shares they could never shift over on the Canadian market...

Hopefully they at least hang around for the SR result first..

If the strategic review is dragged out towards the end of June, it would mean it will have taken the fat part of a year to complete, given It was announced it was already underway back in October….. Given we are not a large, multinational corporation, with complex operations all around the globe, more a small explorer, with just a single, proven asset… how does our strategic review take this long?

How can it possibly take the best part of a year to discuss and decide what to do next with our only proven asset?… It’s just continued heel dragging in my eyes…
