Thanks WW. That's a very strong message the Chief Minister had sent out to the anti-frackers who are trying to spread fear to the locals during the Corona Virus pandemic. He is very aware that these idiots have no morals and no boundaries as to the levels they will go in order to try and disrupt the exploration in the NT. German industry talks up ‘carbon-free’ hydrogen from fossil gas... Pöyry, a consultancy firms study, published in June, sees hydrogen from natural gas as “the key to deep decarbonisation” of the economy, providing a practical option in areas like industrial process heat, heavy road transport or waterborne transport, which are difficult or impossible to electrify.
“It has become increasingly evident that hydrogen will be an integral part of the solution” to decarbonise the economy, Kehler said. “We need a clear target for green gas that includes hydrogen from natural gas, renewable gas from electrolysis as well as biogas,” he said in a statement.

EMPIRE Energy Group Limited reports that seismic data from a recent 2D survey has confirmed that its target shale sequences are present in the EP-187 tenement across the eastern sector of the Beetaloo Sub-Basin in the Northern Territory.
The company said processing and interpretation of the recently acquired 231-line km 2D seismic data set is now complete in its 100% owned EP187 permit in the eastern sector of the Beetaloo Sub-Basin.
Managing director, Alex Underwood, said open file Northern Territory Geological Survey data has been combined with these newly interpreted and mapped data sets and has confirmed an easterly extension of the Beetaloo Sub-Basin into EP9187 containing the Velkerri and Kyalla Shales, Empire’s primary and secondary exploration well appraisal targets, on trend and continuous with those in neighbouring Santos and Origin permits.
“We are very pleased with the results of the EP-187 seismic programme,” Mr Underwood said.
“The seismic data have demonstrated that the most prospective petroleum productive shales of the Beetaloo Sub-Basin extend into our EP187 tenement at depths and thicknesses ideal for petroleum development.
“The thickness of the Velkerri Shale in our initial priority target area exceeded our expectations, as has the depth and thickness of the Kyalla Shale, thereby opening an additional liquids rich play for Empire to explore and appraise.
