New....totally agree, I remember couple of years ago, when there was a big rumour about lloyds taking over metro Bank, started in a wine bar in the city, and then appeared in the Evening Standard paper, neither bank issued an rns about it...Metro sp went up by 30% then crashed down again a few days later on no more news.

Any news that can effect the sp, if it be negative or positive has to be made to the public via an rns! GM has no say in this, it is a legal requirement.

Bing.....there was rumours last March of a to....but only on this board! No one back then had really heard of ncyt....fast forward a year, and still most people haven't heard of them yet! Lol....at least it would generate some excitement! Instead of counting how many milk bottles get delivered to their offices and then logging on it a spreadsheet and getting all excited because they increase their order by one bottle a day lol
