I see ncyt have a test to detect if anyone is carrying the vomiting virus! At the moment with the ncyt product it can only be detected with a stool sample. This could be a massive and I mean massive money generator. Tens and tens of millions of pounds are lost by cruise companies each year due this virus, its much more transmissible then covid, forcing big cruise liners to cancel tours, refund passengers money and having massive ships deep cleaned.
At the moment cruise companies only make you sign a disclaimer to say you have had no sickness in the last three days! But norovirus can live in the stools for upto 14 days, if you don't wash your hands properly, touch a door handle, and then bang another infection breaks out.
If ncyt can develop this test so maybe a saliva swab could detect it! Knock it out at £25.00 a
passenger....
