"British-made lateral flow tests are BANNED in UK despite being cleared for use in EU" https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10362195/amp/British-lateral-flow-tests-BANNED-UK-despite-cleared-use-EU.html
Basil, been saying that for the last week! Ireland now running very short on pcr tests...as I'm sure mot countries are as well....So have ncyt ran out as well?
Are they increasing capacity? If not, then why not? Do they not have demand?
Wolverine...this is why it's so frustrating, we are been told there are massive shortages of pcr tests! And by this time next week, the shortages will be even worse!
So why no communication from ncyt?
Are they meeting the demand? Have they run out?
Surely they must be massively upscaling production, so if that is the case, why not rns it...They don't have to even mention any money.Just a simple: Ncyt are have increased output by an extra % to meet the growing shortage of pcr tests and we are confident we any demand and we able to upscale production even more if required.
Harchris...you are a much respected poster on here! But alot of what you have said is past tense. The guidance was 100 million, but it was just that guidance, not confirmed...millions spent on r and d...they bought one company! Internationally , but not one government has put in for a major contract!
No no no.....before you all say it, ncyt don't want to publish how much money they are making! What a complete load of tosh....Michael Oleary of Ryan Air is live every two weeks on sky news, business with Ian King, telling the market how much money and business he is making! ....
Wbafc....I agree with what drb83 says... who would invest in ncyt...what are there plans for the future? No one knows! Now it's good we are making so much money, but the market wants to know what we are going to do with it! Tens of millions sitting in the bank, doesn't do ncyt any favours. The market wants to know about expansion and investment and plans other then covid
Agents.. not always the case, I was in Metro bank around two years ago, when strong rumours came out about a takeover of metro by lloyds, the sp rose 20% , neither side released an rns. A few days later the sp just sunk again.
I remember all the fuss when the Spanish health, put out tenders for pcr testing...apparently according to some on here, we were front runners for a deal that would eclipse the dhsc...reality is we weren't even shortlisted ! So let's not get to carried away.
