Thanks GS for ITV links....H/L seems fairly up beat on the share and yet it continues to drop and coming up to a 14 p divi. I added the other day hoping for turnaround re continued aqusitions etc. British Land dropping more today mainly caused by Jefferies who has down graded it. Now really one to watch technicaly for the upturn. Hot your hitting the spot on your trades Dax. Dow and Gold some excellent points do keep it up! IMG I see you are a loan poster over there!!! Chip firms appear to be out of favourat the mo.. I don't really get it I like the look of ARM as well. I think they could and should both turn north soon. Been to Bridlington today as well as Beverly. Off to York in the morning. Can't access charts in such detail as I can on computer and only have my phone. Sold tesco early afternoon today on mobile in mtotor way servives whilst having a lattee. Only 5.45 points but at £5 A point it paid for meal tonight. Steak night £25 for 2 Inc a bottle of wine. Hi Gs no, not going to the races, just hotel stay breakfast and a chill out etc . Ive never been to Beverly but heard its very nice. I've been to York several times and have even worked in York on contract work so i know my way around York well enough. Its a great city! just fancied getting away for a bit. Thanks for the ITV divi link quite an easy list to read with clickable results pages. ITV surprisingly dived today, strange so close to ex divi date but sayin g that i have seen it before. it used to happen frequently on SSE. maybe market makers dropping the price for their mates to buy back in re ex divi day. thanks for posts re Argentina bonds but dont think we can get access to them in the Uk . If only the UK gov would offer something similar ( in our dreams i guess ) GS ive looked at British land i use to hold it until it dropped. Hi guys apols for late reply been out for most of the day. disappointing to see my MTC stopped for 27points bo ho!! Well done Hot on your trades.................... (Force open) yes a must for hedging and betting both ways . Adding to a position never actually tried just hitting the buy button again always now check the fore box out of habit. Trust's................ no good asking either of you pair then, you know less than me lol ! My understanding is ( and it could be wrong) that its very much about the Nav.. If you buy a trust at a premium to NAV you are paying more than its worth. EG: if the share price was £1 and the NAV say was premium of 5.9% you are paying over the odds, more than its worth. This tends to happen with popular managers and popular trusts such as Woodford patient cap.. On the other hand if you buy a Trust at a discount to NAV say -25%you are getting the share at a lower price than it is worth and potentially a bargain if it powers northwards again. I tend to look at 5 year graphs and Actual NAVS and estimated NAVS plus I also love trusts for diversity of instruments and assets that a normal PI cant access. Plus I go for and dividends etc etc ( also i watch out for fees fees and performance fees as well) Any way i bought another two this morning for my long term P/F Standard life Inv property income trust (SLI) a slight premium to NAV but a 5.35% yield. Also Standard life European private equity trust (SEP) 2.35% yield but a good discount to NAV with increasing assets.............. both up on the day so far ......... Now to look at the markets.......

carpet right............... been a rubbish company for years The carpet trade has been booming for the last two years but carpet right seemed to have missed it completely and are coming to the party a little late.......... they are known as a lower to middle end retailer but are trying to up brand to attract top end customers. The independents of carpet trade tend to attract the more affluent and i am guessing carpet right will find it quite difficult to make the switch from gairy to posh. That being said as a punt they recently hit a yearly low share price and if the shorting has stopped it could pop up a few pence in the interim but i wouldn't put the family silver on it lol ( as you know this is my trade). . Aviva so much already written about this share and as we ll know a weird one, up and down like a pair of tarts knickers but generally more down!!! I am already in at £4.82 so am awaiting a northward bounds push. Gl all

Hi HOT it presented by the beauty Katie Pilbean but the techs are done by Josh or Chris. Go into your live account on the top right you will see IG TV click on that. It opens up a window with video in it, on the bottom right click on see more videos. At the bottom there are several videos the first one to the left is "trade of the week" This week its go long on AUS/NZD Last week it was short on Dollar Yen by Josh but it didn't really get going until Friday, by that time i would have been out and much worse off and depressed as hell, so caution is strongly advised in my opinon. the week before was Chris and it was a disaster They do tell you where to put stops but you need deep pockets to put them where they say to put them and if it goes wrong its costly. I tend to watch them and pick at them taking a few points where i can. Forex is so volatile and if somebody sneezes in Timbuktu the trade can turn on a sixpence. Ps not looked at trade of the week yet. Will get back to you about AV and carpet............. right just off out for a meal.

Hi Hot thanks for your post re techs. Yes the IG guys call it right a lot of the time. (Not so good on the trade of the week though) Shorting from the oversold 1 hourly plus a few other signals seems to be the way currently. Like you say volitily makes longterm longs difficult to call. I've noticed over recent months the huge changes in share prices on the intra day. Massive drops which often apear overdone. Very rarely get huge intra day highs.though! It didnt use to be like this a few years ago. Prices would go up or down over a longer period of time . Tesco was a classic case this week the drop was way overdone!!! Just to clarify last rain written post on mobile. .... the rumour is ITV are thinking of Buying out ETO. Some big buys went through yesterday on ITV. But it's unconfirmed and could come to nothing. Saying that ITV are strong on their own and making good progress.

Hi GS a very tidy profit on lgn.....well done . Itv yes already in nice divi coming soon and potential ETO takeover.....Itv have plenty of cash to.pay for it as well . Some mega busy yesterday as well .. I am going to hang on in there. Went in tesco first thing this morning......Plus took your advice and have taken a small poison in MTC and hoping for a relatively quick small profit. I am currently out walking in the rain. Mrs Optimus wants to go clothes shopping when I get back so burning off some adrenaline now. Good luck all
