Hi guys been out all day eating and coffee-ing etc now off to cinema, then a pizza. Hot looked at Tesco twice this morning and decided against it. will look again tomorrow but if the funds jump on it for shorting, down t will go.......... time will tell......... Whatever your news is about ETO i hope it drags my ITV back up only 5 more points to hit profit on that one. . Gs i am encouraged by your positive long term out look for Mothercare but did you say 4 year view?!! i see its dropped a massive 20% today!!! yikes . it might be worth a day trade but at my time of life and Hots ( lol) we cant be hanging around for 4 year views lol lol HOT keep your trades coming although i haven't been doing much i value your posts and what you are up too it help to give me an insight of whats going on . Hi GS I know Hunstanton I've been a few times.. Yes beautiful day today, I hope it continues. Tyres yes expensive things I always buy run flat tyres which allegedly gets you home if you have a puncture but it ruins the tyre ive been told. Lots of shares up today on positive news coming out of China. I took 9 points out of easy jet so better than my AV and Ashtead Good luck all

Hi Hot pleased the shiny stuff is coming good for you and good you are feeling better. I am suffering with a poorly back so can't concentrate on anything. It's ibuprofen and doing very little. I've been reading up on Bonds and ETF I might put some in my P/F to continue the diversification. Sorry this is such a boring post but better than none at all. On the positive my biggest long term holding of sainsburys is at an all time recent high. It looks like the city are happy with the home retail /Argos buyout and now hopefully the massive shorting might subside. Good luck all

Hi guys still fairly busy and going up to Sheffield tomorrow then Barnsley..... Golden ocean price at 5.67. No trading... but picked up AV divi and llyods divi on S/B account today but both in the red . Picked up divi on llyods in ISA and divis on a couple of funds this week so happy about that. Hi guys Av there is no real reason for it to drop the way it has but Hot is correct in thinking it could go down to 430 or even 400 according to technical. However it goes ex divi on the 7th of April so that could possibly negate the techs and push it north. I am stuck in it at 482 and in theory there is nothing to stop it going back up to 520. Hoping so anyway. The Broker downgrades are always treated by myself with a sense of paranoia. EG If you want to short a share downgrade it, or and if you want to pick a load just pre ex Divi date cheap down grade it. My experience of broker downgrades is that they are usually followed by other broker upgrades!! It depends whether they are long or short.!!! Life assurance companies were all extremely happy on budget day as the tax implications were far less than expected. The downgrade doesn’t makes much sense. GS………… Next……. yes a massive drop on Friday after results but you bought in near the bottom and with luck it will recover some of that drop. Hi Hot yes it has turned round and going back south. You did well to get in and out on such a brief window. next stop south looks like 1200 ish to me . If it goes that far then surely buyers will return

Nice work hot. I've just taken another look. It still doesn't look like it's trending north. If anything it could turn round and head south again. Asian markets might push it along later. Yes some strange movements today, maybe due to being a short week.

hello Hot yes i remember the good old days of izal toilet paper . That was in that days when men were men and women thought powder puffs came out of guns! Hot, just come on the board great minds think alike. I went long on gold somewhere between 8 and 9 am at 1235.15. SL at 1230 its strugling to get some forward momentum. It keeps trying but fingers crossed. Just checked out FX empire they have gold as a buy B & M often in there for bargains lol ....... by the way i meant to say "Bog Rolls" not big rolls WPCT has with in it purple bricks, probably a decent share to buy and hold on regular isa sipp etc but not for S/B trading a bit of a big spread in my view Gl all
