MVR will not be on full throttle until the Santa Cruz is launched.
A lot of good things will happen but not that.
Yes there will be a live concert this year or as AM put it in the pipe line this year but it will be on the Occulus Go and only the Occulus Go.
Pretty soon I can see an almighty row brewing between MVR and its major partners and investors over the apparent dominance that Facebook have over them.

Here is the problem for retailers.
Yes they can demonsrate headsets but customers will say thank you very much and go and buy it from Amazon.
MVR need to do demos at shopping centres, markets stalls and even at venues.
As I have said before much to everyones annoyance is that MVR's communicatons are abysmal and they just haven't got the message yet.
They should also consider selling the app and a headset as a package, perhaps with a couple of concerts thrown in free of charge.
Sometimes the old fashion ways are best.
You cant demonstrate a VR app over the internet.

Not a concert goer myself but I do wish some of them would turn the lights on.
There is an artist in there somewhere but I cant see them thro the smoke.

With no news good or bad technical analyses suggest to me that this share will hit 9.5p in the next two weeks.

The MACD seems to have hit a trigger point.

MACD is converging, Bollinger band suggests a bounce and the RSI still shows this share as oversold.
As stated elsewhere I think the next target is now 10 to 11p.

In other words advertising which there has been very little of hence the figures.
If this were Boots the chemist I would be disappointed but we are not selling drugs we are selling a virus.
Nobody expected good figures but what matters now is the change over a set period as we see the dominos start to fall.
I expect them to start falling in October (a guess) so regretfully this share price could still fall to 6.5p in the short term.
A tragedy for some but an opportunity for others.

Asaynor- Careful what you say, I got my head bitten off for suggesting Spotify.
But we would be worth a lot more to Spotify than any other company I can think of.
However a sale like that would probably need approval of all the partners and they would probably get it.
Everything MVR, do have the hallmarks of a company being built for sale rather than built to run.
The lack of advertising is the first clue.

Well Petebo - If you studied my posts as much as Ferrisc does you will no I never claimed to understand the formula in the PE ratio otherwise I wouldn't have taken a rain check.
What I did say was that a Positive ration is better than a negative one that's all.
Since you asked me a civil question about the Santa Cruz I will give you an answer.
If the MVR were launched on Play station and HTC vive it would wipe the floor with the Occulus Go in terms of quality.
Only the Santa Cruz could compete.
I don't believe the word "coming soon" could be extended to 5 months so I expect launch on all platforms in around October and I expect the Santa Cruz will be launched with it ready for the Christmas rush.
I also expect the first live concert to be in October together with a revise app making a lot more artists available.
That makes sense to me but we just have to wait and see.

Petebo, are you and Ferrisc an item or just friends.
Now that's laughable.
IMHO nobody knows but one guess has as much merit as another.

I think the cat is now out of the bag.
We know or believe MVR have their hands tied by Facebook until the Santa Cruz is launch which could be in the next two months.
They can advertise and they can make deals but MVR stays on the Occulus go only until Facebook give the nod.
Between now and Christmas the future looks bright but in the next few days any rise will be limited.
What we may see are investors who pulled out come back in to take advantage of the low price,
lest they leave it too late.
First they wait and see if this share has bottomed out.
All speculation of course and only my opinion.

Ferrisc - I would seriously like the PE ratio to be in positive territory rather than negative.
I will take a rain check on the rest,
Like all the technical indicators I know how to use them but I have no idea how they are calculated.

Yes that.s right though we have not had a live streamed concert yet just recordings and on only two platforms,
On the point of PE ratio, I know the share price can rise even with a negative ratio but moving into positive territory can not be seen as bad.
I will do some more research but whether the share price halves or triples I don't think that effects the PE ratio directly.
Once it is positive then you are making a profit.

The P/E ratio is now approx -12p which means the company is losing money.
No surprise their but the significant thing is that it comes down every week.
I do know that once a P/E ration turns positive the company is in profit.
I remember that a short time after launch it was around -25p or worse.

I don't think MVR can launch on any other hi-res platform until SC is launched.

AM has taken an almighty kicking this week along with some of us, but he seems to have woken up finally.
I have no doubt there has been considerable manipulation with this share price but some of it due to the performance of our board.
I was expecting this to bottom at 6.5p after the 8p support line was broken but it is possible this may level at 7p and start to go up,
With regard to the RNS I think any revenue will be seen as positive,
For me its not the size of revenue so much as the direction of travel over time.

Ferrisc - yes I made a positive post and what I said still stands, the share is oversold,
Eventually there will be an upturn but is does depend on what happens next,
Like any a premier league football team they are not going to pull themselves off the bottom of the table by playing rubbish.
To expand the analogy the forwards are missing to many chances, the midfield seem incapable of seeing a pass
and the defence are scoring own goals.
The manager meanwhile is telling the press he is not too bothered,
