I said a while ago that we will find out soon if MVR are all mouth and trousers, I think we have the answer.
These guys always pretend that something is going to happen but it never does
It will eventually but in wont be a time of our choosing but that of a chosen few IMHO.

Brown adder - you seem to know a lot about spread betting so here is a question.
If I have this right OM sell shares , trigger stop losses, stat panic and depress the price.
Meanwhile they short the share and rake in the money.
Then they do the opposite, start buying shares on the cheap, everybody piles in and the share rockets.
So here is my question, if Old mutual can manipulate the share price and make so much money, why don't all the other institutional investors do the same.
Or is that exactly what they are doing but at a level that doesn't register on www.shorttracker.com ?

Being positive I think there may be an RNS on Tuesday at which point the short comes off and OM start piling back in as if there is no tomorrow.
On Wednesday SH will starting talking about the RNS at the 02.

You are probably right.
Getting this share at this price is a dream come true for a big company or bank.
However MVR havn't exactly helped themselves.
Whatever it is they are planning to do they need to get on with it because the snow is arriving soon.

I read on this board it was up to 12k.
Probably a bit of everything but I think the headsets have to catch up with the filming.

To date I have not seen an Occulus Go in any retail outlet.
Even if they were with they refuse to demonstrate them for health and safety concerns.
So like the Samsung gear it just sits there unless they give it away with a phone.
What would it cost for MVR to set up safe demo cafes to show off the app.

Well the SP didn't fall today but if OM were tried to shake the tree I think they have succeeded.
Despite the companies fundamentals being strong they see a companies that are paralysed by NDA's and can't protect themselves.
Where they see weakness they go in for the kill.

Probably they take the short off, go long then start investing heavily.

As you say you have to treat it with a pinch of salt but a revenue of 250million would put the market cap at between 2.5 and 3.5billion at a guess.
If a bigger company took over it could be worth even more than spotify (39b +) eventually.
Right now I would be happy if they just started to advertise.

I was familiar with concept of shaking the tree but I didn’t think it was still legal to spread bet on the same share.
That being the case I guess there will be a lot of people going long on a spread bet beteen now and Christmas.

Betting on shares that you have a large stake in and its all legal.
A bit like a keeper kicking the ball in to his own net.
OM have their own share holders to look after and a goalkeeper has his family to look after no doubt.

MVR have been very specific about their dates, lets hope they are true to there word.

There will come a time when we stop looking like patient builders and more like a bunch of no hopers that will never come to anything.
That trigger point will be reached between now and the end of October.

I would love to be proved wrong.
