Well JH as you are clearly fed up with my pessimism about CPX I thought I share some of my joy with you. PS It s only money

I wonder how long it will be before a) the bush fires and b) the coronavirus will form some part of an excuse to explain the lack of predicted progress. This is turning into a long term investment . Still everybody will be similarly affected. Still AFC creeping up JH !!

My reading is that Ioxus was first filed in June 2018 and have taken 2 and half years to come to trial in Dec 20. Maxwell was filed in Sept 2019 so all things being equal the Maxwell trail should be circa Mar 2022 (Jesus Christ). As far as I can tell they all seem somewhat similar claims on a 2005 patent .
Lest hope CPX swings into profit and lifts the SP before we have to cross the Maxwell crossroads

I have just checked the posting you quoted and it does not refer to the Maxwell case in particular but in the context, that with every case which is entered into, each side believes it will win. What I was trying to say was that 50% of them would be proved to be wrong . My point was that there is no such thing as certainty in any case where a jury seeks to determine a resolution to a dispute.

My apologies People it was Claret who said 3 out 4 . The bottom line is that none of us has any real insight into what the state of this case is. I simply ask the question "if Tusk really wanted to could he destroy CPX". If the answer to that is yes then I would have avoided taking him to court . Business is not fair playground it can be a dirty dog eat dog world. May times in my life I have seen might is right act itself out. I think based on my experience it might have been a mistake to pick this fight. Others may disagree so be it that's their view. So as it appears I did say it this case is 50/50, its what happens if we win that worries me the most.

I don't think I have ever said it was 5O/50 I simply don't know. What I have said is that in life I would be extremely wary of picking a fight with anyone who had so much more fire power than myself. As regards the 3 out of 4 if you care to check People Powers recent postings he firstly sought to explain why a jury trial was so much in favour of the patent holder so as to indicate we were vey much "hopeful of winning" the case. He has since qualified that statemnet by saying 75% of such claims are upheld by juries. When I sought to understand how the rest of the process fitted into the entire case , if it was all going to be settled by a jury I was simply rubbished. As for my recent posting that simply repeated what People Power had said. I appreciate you don't agree with my half full approach but please be more factual when criticising me

As I said before the Maxwell case is high stakes stuff. Did you notice the near certainty of jury decided victory is now only 3 out of 4. Not saying we were not right to go to court but for me its squeaky bum stuff.

I remind you Andy Lou you said "Without being bullish I’m quietly confident by June/September 2021 the SP will be 12-20 p". Its in the diary to check. If you are right I shall be the first to bow to your accuracy

FYI I worked for RM for 42 years and also made a pile on them. I've been in shares and lost big money and also some where I've made lots but up overall. I never gamble what I cant afford to lose. Having said that CPX is the one which has promised the most yet failed to deliver. Time will tell but AK does not inspire my confidence any more

Tell me why do you describe my point of view as "ramming it down everyone's throat" whilst rampers providing speculative and tenuous information are described as providing "excellent research". I am never personally offensive to any one and so far my "negative " comments as you call them have proved "well founded" given an SP fall from mid teens to 3-4p. As regards your share picking skills the operative word is lucky. I firmly believe all shares are an absolute gamble given that you have little control over anything . No doubt this will attract the usual why did you buy why don't you sell up comments but hey ho who cares

One things for sure we are all pawns in someone's game. The problem is we don't know who the king and queen really or what their motives are. I just worry try at at some stage there will be an out of the blue "check mate game over". Meanwhile the rampers speculate and pragmatists urge caution and so it goes on

OK if you are so clever you explain the rationale as presumably you understand it. Given that the process takes up to 24 months there must be a lot that goes on in order to get to the right decision. I simply don't understand how a "don't worry the jury usually sides with the plaintiff" is an argument that in any way ensures we get to the right decision
