Well it is certainly not me buying . I am overexposed with an average in the 6ps . My aim at the moment is to hope that I don't lose too much. Any figure near break even would do me right now. And it didn't take any research to figure that out

Absolutely spot on Dungiven. The highlight was the Spire contract which they failed to follow up on . Ultimately it is the responsibility of the board to produce products that customers want to buy and they have patently failed to do that to date. Now I suspect the Murata customers are not ordering as expected (due to Covid-19) and the question must be will they return. While CPX cannot be blamed for this there have ben so many false dawns that it makes you ask the question, is it down to back luck or bad management?

People you just don't get it do you. You may well do lots of research which may or may not be relevant but the condescending way you communicate your god like status gets right up other Peoples noses. It seems that you bought 380000 BOO shares in 2015 at 27p (£102.6k) which at the current price of £3.15 gives you £1.2 million which accords with your recent declaration. It therefore appears to be precise all you other investments in the last 5 years have lost £200k . What do you put that down to good research ?? It seems like many of us you have had one multi bagger and thats it

Quite how are you trying to help people? Your mantra is research, research, research and are categoric that will provide you guidance. When you first posted in Feb 2015 CPX was at about 12.5p . Ever since that time the CPX SP has continue on a continuous downward spiral to its present 2p . Could you please explain to me in plain English how if anybody has listened to your research mutterings during this period it has been of any help to them as they have all lost money

People. Things that are obvious to you are simply how you want it to be . Good luck to you if you are £900k up I hope it makes you happy. You are still however what we used to call a "big head"

Many things in life are not about what you do but what people think you do i.e. perception is everything. In the case of CPX Virtually Rich is spot on i.e. fewer people believe in AK any more. The perception therefore is that CPX is not being well led and this translates into a lack of confidence to invest in the share. All IMHO

3.14 I am a Newky Brown man myself. I started to self isolate on 1 March so currently I have saved enough to buy another 10000 CPX shares (that's on beer savings alone) .
Some of the old sayings have stood the test of time. In this case a fool and his money are soon parted. People is right I am a fool . But at least I know it. Lets hope he is right and CPX does eventually come good although it does seem every time we are about to enter the promised land something else comes along and kick us back in the long grass

I note however that you have categorically on 22 April stated that CPX WILL make a profit. We must all be now be re-assured and stop worrying . People as with all rampers you are getting drawn in personal attacks against anyone who disagrees with your rationale. Meanwhile the SP is down 5% . I suppose that's the pragmatists fault for encouraging caution. You have no more clue than the man in the moon as to the likelihood of CPXs profitability, all you have is enthusiasm and hope. I feel genuinely sorry for anyone who looses money on shares but after all its a gamble. Equally I realise that research is just that . Research is about picking up on various bits of information which could indicate that in the right circumstances things could go well. I am a pragmatist who believes that there is only one that really matters and that's sales and profit. Like others I made the decision to invest on what might have been (AKs blurb) only to find the latter has so far not been delivered. That was my mistake and I admit it. Rampers come and go but the bottom line is what really matters, the rest is just peripheral noise.

Well if CPX got to a £1 I would make a million (oops sorry, another million)

Kencarv define a genuine long term holder? I have held for a long time and see AK having led CPX since its inception (2006) and as yet never even got near breaking even despite having half his wage bill being paid for. I therefore , being a genuine long term holder, believe it therefore perfectly reasonable to question his performance. Now if you don't like well that just plain tough luck. I do of course still hope my investment will come good but question the likelihood of that happening. Hope and ramping will not help we need sales.

Could not agree more Hayashi. AK is an engineer not a salesman/marketeer. He has led a privileged career with the Aussie government underwriting his plaything. They may well have some good engineers in their employ but that means diddly squat unless their products sell. I am surprised he has survived this long but surely he must be on borrowed time. Others will disagree of course

I like what LLDG and surprised say. We are all nutters for gambling on shares in the first place. We are driven by greed hoping that we can make a fortune by simply buying a share and hoping. I suspect we have all made killings and then lost big. In many way the coronavirus is the perfect storm for use gamblers and as yet we simply don't know how its going to pan out. On the balance of probabilities my glass is half full. I am at the moment just happy to be alive

If you guys seriously think you are going to be better off when this finishes you are living in cloud cuckoo land. I reckon unemployment will be up at 10%. 1000s of businesses will never re-open . Nobody will want to invest in new businesses . Social distancing will be the norm until we find a vaccine. Income tax will soar so as to pay for government expenditure. We will go into a world wide recession like we have never seen before but the good news is that CPX will soar
