My biggest holding is on Cnic They suffered a similar but accelerated fund manager wobble over two days., it’s one of the fastest growing companies in Europe apparently. They released record results on increased forecasts for the 6th successive time and the sp dropped only 10 percent. Then everyone found out it was a forced seller fund manager and it’s shot up almost 15 percent yesterday and fallen back. Eck also had some strange large volume ( 5 million share traded) no movement in share price till yesterday on low volumes. Very strange shenanigans going on at the moment. Always a logical explanation. Usually a bit underhand! Gl

Expect the market makers have been accumulating and licking their lips at this early Christmas gift from yet another dumb fund manager chucking investors money away. Wonder where the bidding will start on Monday. Don’t expect to see 7.8, or even 9p again.

Ggrantu. Well unfortunately for them or us Cnic is too small for them. They got out of both Google and apple I think now. Really into Elon Musk Spacex and the whole electric car theme Northvolt batteries in Sweden etc. Hope you are right the sky is possibly not the limit here longer term!

Ggrantsu. You’re not wrong there. Spotting it is half the game! That’s why chasing the market is a mug’s game. Do the research and invest for at least the medium term. The Scottish mortgage boys were talking about the early days investing in apple and Google when the prices when up and down 50 -90 percent a week. They stuck with it and got 20 fold returns. Not easy to nip in and out when investing millions!

Just seen a list of major holders as of November 14th 2022. 75per cent owned by 8 institutions. Top 3 are Gresham House 29. 9 pc. Slater and Premier Milton both have substantial holdings above 5pc. Can only guess one of the smaller ones is selling out in blocks. There has been no news so doubt it’s anything else. Very odd not to comment or RNS . Poor investor relations

Well done Daddy, Ggrantsu and others no doubt for voice of reason. Good discussions though. Always hard to explain the contrarian reaction to sp movements especially after results like that yesterday. Ok it wasn’t a conspiracy of city cowboys but actually Ben did uncannily allude to the possibility of a sell off by a distressed fund manager in his presentation.
Unfortunately there will be a few who got unnerved by yesterday and sold out as confessed by a poster on stockopedia. Doesn’t help when the lead small cap commentator says he doesn’t undestand the business and the balance sheet is horrible. Really? And people pay for this! Just watched a really good interview with two guys involved in Scottish Mortgage Trust which I would recommend to anyone interested in investing in innovation and the longer term . basically back your choices and ignore the noise which often has little to do with reflecting the value of the business in times like this. Talking absolute tosh as usual . Completely different trades the two @ 350000. So that’s over a million buys right there . But our more modest trades @ 37.75 are all buys. Happy days

Nearly 2 million shares traded today . A whole load of bot trades following the trend. Generally if the market smells something a miss the share tanks immediately. Like Jarvis securities ( hello guys, made a nice few bob there) and then doubles a few days l8r when they discover it was just acute paranoia. Somebody is accumulating a shed load of stock for the full year. This looks like yet another case of gross manipulation to me as repeated from last year. Have not topped up this time as should have seen this coming which I did vaguely hint at yesterday morning. gl all . doesnt change anything from my perspective

Interesting. All those alledged sells are most likely buys. I just purchased a few more at those prices myself. Where as the company purchased 352000 in the market just now @38p for employees awards. What do you have to do to get a price moving up. I know how to get a price down, buy shares in it!

Upomega. Possibly a bit harsh on something that’s free:) part of the problem here is the bloody name change even though it was a good while back. Makes it harder to research. adfvn and stockopedia still havnt got it sorted. Still no director deals here. I know all that info gets reported usually but still good to have easy access to info for all to see. RNS info on shre sales and puchases is often complete gobbledy gook. Why cant they just say x bought or sold shares today instead of inventing some secretive code which can be completely misleading particularly after a placing. Many times have i seen an institutions holding seen as a reduction when they have in fact been purchasing shares. Its simply that because of the placing bringing more shares to market, their percentage has dropped slightly even though they enlarged their own holding.
So Noix/Cir are doing a ‘capital reduction.’ A share buy back in laymens terms. I guess their must be a difference as they had to get court permission to do it which i have not come across before. Unless they are thinking of returning cash to shareholders not sure I see the obvious point in a company this small that I thought were hoping to be bought out. Any how seems good value either way and what a great product

It’ s aim, it’s a game. A poster on adfvn imaginatively suggested it was the currency swap to dollars from euros. My theory is , as hinted by Ben in yesterday's presentation , liquidity issues in some fund manager’s portfolios having to sell stock they can actually sell like cnic on strength in outstanding result’s news. As Ben also pointed out early investors made a lot of money from 40p entry over 9 years though. Its is very hard and possibly unwise to second guess the markets wild swings, not that this is that wild or much of a swing. the facts as presented yesterday are sufficient for me

General malaise in aim stock and tech in particular. Only ‘in line’ seems to be taken as the new profit warning! Good double digit growth and higher revenues and profit than when the stock was in the 60p range is just typical of Aim logic. Of course their is no logic in this game but the global environment has dramatically deteriorated apparently. Nobody seems to have convinced the Dow Jones yet. Their PE ratio is the lowest in sector but that is still. Perhaps a little high compared to other sectors. The outlook is strong for this sector and if the management can deliver their projections this looks very good value now

Wonder if Berenberg will lower their £3.80 price target now they have been chopped!
