From a recent interview I thought the CEO looked as perplexed and exasperated as anyone about the share price. They re not supposed to make comments about the sp. As often stated they have no control over that, but they do control the running of the business. Mr Rawlinson was brought as executive with outstanding city connections with specific regard to the mining industry. They believe they have the makings of a multi billion pound mining company here. That is not going to happen overnight in the middle of several wars, economic and governmental collapses, energy crisis, bank defaults and god knows what else currently unwinding. There are massive liquidity problems to add to the chaos. We either come out the other side or we dont. Markets have a habit of turning on a sixpense when least expected.

In-line as expected seems a bit uninspired on the face of it. However record revenues with business actually boosted by the energy crisis and one is left wondering again how this bloody stock market really works. Debt increased by 4 million only because they had to make a performance related payment of nearly 11 million on an acquisition. Presumably they will be at least 11 million richer next year? Don’t expect the market to figure that out!

They certainly know how to kick investors up the backside. 70p is an interesting target . Would that be the for sale price?

It looked extremely cheap long before clarkson’s stuff hit the fan. Dont know how much cheaper it can look without being totally ridiculous. did they upset the market at the last placing a couple of yers back possibly? I dont mind if they can afford to up the dividend again. The sp only matters when you want to sell which obviously if you are a hapless fund manger you feel compelled to do to waste your clients money as happened recently. Debt is. Bit of a question mark. Will be interesting to see how that is working out

This got a big thumbs up on city wire, but it just doesn’t seem to mater what region trust operate in they all seem to under form in this environment. Having said that this looks better than most, but with country forecast to snatch third place in world economy with 6 percent growth it doesn’t say much for other countries. I like that fact that they only have 11 percent leverage compared to uk , a staggering 85 percent! Will certainly help a watch as I would love to get some exposure to Indian economy having visited recently and seen for myself the massive infrastructure expansion. Puts our pathetic endeavours to shame

I see someone on Adfvn posted about their presentation on Mello last night. They are at pains to explain the business to potential investors. This has been the big difficulty for the market to understand how they make their money and how they make so much! There is no obvious comparison or competitor in the uk. So long as they keep reducing debt, piling up the cash and paying a dividend there can be no doubting their success for much longer hopefully.

Conservative forecasts in a troubled world like this seem eminently sensible to me. Far better to er on the side of caution however confident they are about the prospects and the tiny market share it has taken blood sweat and tears to get so far.

Blimey jimbo splashed out on 50,000 shares . Wonder if he left a few noughts off by mistake. Hardly worth the effort for him what with his fees etc

Still paying 7p final dividend. Former fd transfers shares into ISA just a few weeks ago. Good example not to follow director share purchases. They are often more clueless about their own company than the punters. This has been rated as a biotech company which is probably unjustified, hence the premium and fall back to reality. The balance sheet looks ok and cash balance is reasonable. This looks like a fairer price but the outlook remains uncertain. One to watch for now

I see Karen Prior took the to switch £35k of stock into her ISA last month . May wish she left a little time lapse between trades but hardly the actions of someone who doesnt expect to make a tax sheltered gain. She is or was the FD. Thought she retired

Here come the 7500 trades again. How many years will it take to clear them? Nearly 80 percent owned by 8 individual investors and institutions. It will be mega one day, but probably taken off us on the cheap

Certainly the volume on days trade would suggest that is two trades and a timing lag of 3 seconds. Perhaps they clicked twice and doubled the order accidentally! Doubt they could seek that many at that price. Looks like broker tradinding
