Upon. Not sure this will push the so up to 80p. They are effectively buying back a percentage of our shares at a premium. Question is will they cancel them or hold in treasury? Looks like a very confident move. I think as we have already had a dividend this year this will count as a capital gain , so perhaps more tax efficient for some shareholders. Also rather than simply paying out cash, it retains value in the company by the reduction of shares. The majority of mine are in my ISA, so doesn’t make a huge difference to me.
