Not a chance Bonnie that BP or Shell would buy as much as I’d wish for that being a LTH with a lot of stock. They contract this stuff out for a reason and their own short term plans are more hydrocarbons so not aligned with what looks like PFC’s strategy of renewables. Not saying it can’t happen but I think highly likely it won’t. The majors don’t want the FTE’s on the books as well as many other reasons that they contract it rather than own it.

Same view Yorkshire, I almost wished they’d said nothing until issuing results. Irrespective the outcome I think at the AGM there should be a vote/demand that the two IR staff are removed/replaced. The comms are always late, poorly constructed and generally a response to the demise in share price. I think I’m actually cutting them some slack on that performance review.

I agree PFCveteran that not a lot changes post RNS or this article. I think the job cuts remark is just mischief at play given they are heavily recruiting (for new business won). We know as much about what progress or future model PFC have from yesterday’s announcement as we do since 20th December and doubt anyone other than BoD, Aiden’s team or deal team know what that is either. I’m holding and think there’s a future, no idea what it looks like or how long it’ll take but happy to wait.

The people he’s offending may also have lost on their investment and we’ll know soon whether those bullied on the short attack November through December also lost considerable amounts of savings or earnings. Not a distraction to me as I spend at most 15 mins a day on this board on my only remaining investment managed by me is PFC, all other investments are in pensions and fund managed.

Redhead, April last year was due to issues flagged by the auditors and restatement of 2021 & 2022 results.

We will hear something by next Wednesday latest and that will either be FY results by end of March or an accompanying statement of progress and results being end of April again. But, I’m pretty certain they will make a statement over next seven days. Make of that what you will and I agree with your post and need for patience. Can take as long as they need if the solution takes the company forward and sustainable for the next 12-24 months.

My opinion/thoughts only and don’t think any of LTH’s are too bothered when as long as its progress.

We’ll hear something this week or early next week Mary in that they have to announce when FY results will be. An expectation v prior year that will be end of March so not a lot of days left before the 30 day blackout period for results. Will it touch financing, maybe, unless everything is already agreed and packaged ready for FY results day. I suspect they’ll want to do financing though on that day to smooth whatever FY results are.

I do Poker and posts today appreciated. Not totally in agreement but also not in denial. Majority of companies are in debt and also not seeing margins/revenues realised until the future particularly if the borrowings were for R&D investments for future products/services. No company would ever start up if margins/revenue plans had to be tomorrow and not in the future. But I’m in agreement PFC’s situation is not a surprise from last two or three years results and cash is king. Confident that’ll be addressed in their next update.
