The precise terms will vary on a case-by-case basis. The RNS of 13/5 says this, but have to admit it requires a read and re-read of that and other RNSs to understand the fuller picture.

It's a JV (joint venture). The benefit is it allows production growth and entry to presumably higher-impact wells than would otherwise be accessible at lower cost and lower risk.

The Zephyr Hawk investor is not yet involved is how I read it. The investor will now potentially get involved in the wells to be drilled in the near term (18 wells mentioned in today's RNS) as part of the Zephyr Hawk arrangement.
