RNS on 17/2: "Calvet has today notified the Company that it has increased its shareholding to 7,000,081 shares, representing 15.94% of the Company's issued share capital. Furthermore Calvet has indicated to the Company that it is pleased with the Board changes, the adoption of the new investment policy and recent equity issuance. Accordingly Calvet has today notified the Board that its indicative proposals to the former Board in December 2016 have now been overtaken by events and it looks forward to the Company's successful implementation of its new bespoke investment plans."

The funny bit is that someone exercised their huge pile of warrants at 80p. MCC had to release this RNS as someone exercised.

Top-up / buy-back opportunity today. RNS and 45p next week is my (admittedly optimistic) prediction.

Note we didn't really finish flat, LSE is confused because the UT trade was at the opening mid-price. So unless there's an RNS we will open 'down' tomorrow according to this website.

A bit of determined buying going on..

Sounds like a strange rule. Is it something to do with the ISA allowance? If say you'd paid in upto the maximum allowed in cash into your ISA for this tax year and managed to lose the lot on investments I could see you needing to move them - but only if they expired before the end of the tax year, which they don't? Not heard anything from my broker about this so I guess I'll leave my ISA warrants sitting there and hope for the best!

By in batches I meant warrants have to be exercised on a certain day of the month (e.g. 24th or 26th). That's the way it appears to me anyway. Not seen anything from my broker about warrants in an ISA (which some of mine are) being transferred to an ordinary account - where did you hear this from?

Plappers - no you don't need to hold shares in order to use the warrants. skippy - it appears the warrants cannot just be exercised any time, but in batches which I'm assuming will be monthly or bi-monthly. I got a similar note from my broker but it mentioned there would be other opportunities to exercise the warrants. Maybe clarify with your broker but I'm sure there is no need to commit the cash now.
