Applied Nutritions valuation cannot be going unnoticed to others associated and in the industry, that's relatively speaking.

About 5p for starters if they add two further vast reservoirs of Helium and Hydrogen on the two additional fractures they are targeting and an improved flow and commercial viability.

Increase the percentage Helium from 4.7% and then proportionally add more.

That's just for starters imho as you have all the other prospects and licences that they are sat upon.

Purely down to timing and largely when Moulding said they had had 2 bids in recent months for THG Nutrition / MyProtein.

Also on top there would be business synergies, economies of scale, potentially new geographies, a heavy online presence and new market types (frozen foods, cereals, cheeses, wider drinks range etc) and it would also have represented acquiring a No1 Brand in the Sports Nutrition industry.

I wouldn't be shocked at all as its probably indicative that THG is looking to seperately list one of the divisions or the full group elsewhere and at far greater value. Who could blame them with an sp not even half the lowest case scenario of the indendent Peel Hunt report.

The analysts at next numbers will be asking the question, and so for definite will Kelso.

Payroll cuts never a bad thing for the balance sheet, superb tie up with Frasers Group, Disney using THG studios and lastly what I have been crying for all the time in THG's tie up with Tesco's - the inclusion of THG products into the meal deal. Its a brilliant way of selling product and I have to admit to always looking to pick up protein and low sugar products as part of a meal deal. Winner winner chicken dinner. At last we are switching on.

Now for the week ahead do we commit to moving towards the FTSE 250 (and FTSE 100) Indices or are we heading elsewhere and will we see interest rates cut for the first time in many years.

Do we commit to the new LSE regime and nail our colours to the mast and move towards the FTSE Indices, or if not chances are we are heading for a full or seperate listings elsewhere. All companies were notified of the new arrangements in May / June.

Just to add, I also firmly believe that when Mars bought out Hotel Chocolat with an absolute blockbuster knockout bid at multiples of its share price and that nobody saw coming, just prior to that they had approached THG for My Protein and that was one of the two bids Moulding said in an analysts meeting had been made for Nutrition. If so, should have taken it imvho.

You won't get anybody buying into any partnership with THG for a minority partnership. End of. You don't part with hundreds of millions to cede control to the other party. You want to be making the decisions and particularly when the share price is about 1/3 of what was meant to be "significantly undervalued" at the lowest 170p bid.

Being totally pragmatic - Moulding wants too much in any deals and that's why the Bids for THG are failing, and also his own deal with the premises. Eventually the penny will drop.

Frasers Group / MAsh holdings will be the buy in here but it will be in the Equity of the whole group rather than any partnership stake and, probably in the near term if not already, backed by a large Contract for Difference. Then they announce a first holding and then stakebuild further. Then the CFD is a winner.

MM might like to think he can "tame" the likes of Kelso with a stake build which is small in monetary terms (wrong imo). Ashley though is a completely different person, maverick in nature but a far far shrewder, seasoned and market savvy operator.

If you watched or can check back on the trades in the last half hour on Friday somebody was trying to dip the price into the close but there was somebody picking up all that was going. My guess is it's Frasers / Ashley accumulating all they can whilst keeping a lid on their purchase price (69p) It's just a shame the volumes are thin or we would have probably had a first Frasers Group holdings RNS by now.
