The Oxford team have already stated they have been trying to prepare for virus X for years.
After 2002 SARS CV, 2012 MERS CV, 2014 Ebola they thought we were not prepared for virus X
and were already looking at the chimp factor.

There are estimates the annual global requirement for inhaler treatments alone for asthma & COPD will exceed $40billion in the next 10 years.
Potential market for SNG001 is huge now what will it be in 5 & 10 years

I know covid is on most peoples minds but as a child of the 60s with severe asthma (still) I recall being only 1 of the 2 children
with asthma in a large London school. Any one with children or working with children will know that several asthmatic children per class is the norm in this country. Severe asthma & COPD & other chronic respiratory conditions can be well managed with the now large range of drugs available until you get a nasty virus!

Well that is good news we have another vaccine. My personal opinion the Oxford vaccine will soon get EUA if safety data is even just ok. The Gov will like this for all the obvious reasons. The Gov desperately need to open up the economy for people to enjoy Christmas, people to have hope & follow regional guidance. That will be easier to pitch if they show something is happening & in 2021 things will be better.
If you listen to the medical & scientific comment on media this morning they all voice caution & follow guidance long way to go etc etc. My personal opinion is a Christmas party will start people will have the best of intentions but a few ****tails later.... A Few teary phone calls & resolve will crumble. I hope not but suspect the Christmas rush will lead to a rush in to hospital in Jan - Mar. 2021 will be a transitional year, by the time the first round of vaccinations are concluded You will need to start all over again with Flu jabs & covid 19 jabs mk2. So where does that leave SNG001? As a Gov you have a vaccine thats only been around for months but been given EUA thats great but you are faced with deaths on a daily basis for months yet what do you do shrug & say sorry? They have so far but if you can buy a treatment from a British company with solid safety & efficacy data built up over years not months. If early P3 data backs up P2 data in 20+ country's around the world someone somewhere is going to jump the gun go to EUA & bag the treatments available. From there you are on the road to stockpiling because Govs will want to say well we fecked that up & good at the start but next time we have this broad spectrum antiviral.
The market for COPD, asthma etc world wide is massive & unfortunately growing. So some have bought in at 2.00 or more
& that can be a difficult holding position especially when people are having fun at your expense on the board. You have a choice take a lose or have a bit of patience & go see nurse Reddit for a pick me up.

Doc it is a good point easy to forget that the wide range of info & facts posted & freely available through this conduit & some others is not being looked at by the wider world population unfortunately. Most modern political parties always have an eye on the next election not doing the right thing because it is the right thing to do.

Doc I was not linking the two just asking the question we will all have difficult decisions to make based on risk v need or want.
For me & them the two close family members with stage 4 cancer was the easiest to make but most difficult to accept.
More tricky my otherwise healthy & independent 80 year old mother as we have one child at school & one at work dealing with people; decision not made yet.
Everyone will have their own personal situation to way up & a lot of families around the world will consider taking more risk for that family time & social contact.
You can question or talk about the share price all you want Doc people should but may be they should take a leaf out of your book & not whinge about it.
I have no idea what the share price will do Tomorrow?
I'm only invested here because of the science.

Unless you are looking to buy (cheaper good luck) or have to sell (sorry to hear that) the share price doesn't matter at the moment. If you sit looking at value for too long momentum kicks in while you were at work, shopping etc and that can be hard to get in front of. A 40% + discount to the placing price could look cheap soon, of course no guarantee, but that is always the case with investing. You are an investor right? You did your research, You are excited about Synairgen its treatment, the team & a profitable outcome other wise why would you buy shares and become a part owner of the company?
If you came hear straight from Bet the House 666 & wanted to see a quick & upward moving share price you are in the wrong
place. All that matters for about the next 8 weeks is the data that the team you invested in deliver another gold standard trial now a P3. The markets will do what markets do people will trade a share like this on AIM because that is what they do you cannot control any of that only what you do or don't do.
This Thursday millions of people will gather together in the USA with little or no adherence to Covid 19 guidance. A week after that in the UK there will be parties to celebrate the end of our lock down. Three weeks after that millions of people will gather
around the world in spite of their governments advice with low or no adherence to guidance. They will risk infecting grand parents, parents, uncles, aunties & family members with various health conditions (will you?). By the 14/01/2021 the third wave of covid 19 & its ugly mutated cousins will start to make its self known. On the 19/01/2021 a golfing nut will be escorted out of a white house. On the 21/01/2021 another guy is going to sit down in that white house with the mother of all to do lists
top of which will be Covid 19. I am confident SNG001 will be on that list.

My view is Synairgen have taken the high road &
will arrive in exactly the right place at exactly the right time.

I am one of the lucky ones thanks to the drugs that Sir David Jack developed I have an active
and interesting life. I suspect I will have the chance of a much longer active & interesting life
thanks to SNG001. If you have any sort of underlying health condition as you age it will be a viral
infection in your respiratory tract that will do for you in spite of other drugs, vaccines for flu, SARs etc.
The point of my post was that when you are on the inside of respiratory illness you can see the potential.

There seems to be some doubters regarding the long term & wide spread potential of SNG001 as a treatment within the respiratory health sector. History may point the way to what could be for those that are nervous about holding.
In 1961 a man named David Jack started work as Research Director at Allen and Hanburys R&D Centre. In 1962 I was born and immediately diagnosed with severe & chronic asthma. Some how my parents, family, GPs & Great Ormond Street Hospital kept
me alive with cortisone & little else other than a wet flannel and repeated back slapping. Cortisone administered systemically has side effects particularly if you are a child. David Jack thought that glucocorticosteroids used topically for eczema etc would point the way to an inhaled version ( sounds familiar) providing topical anti-inflammatory effect on the surface of the respiratory tract. I believe a patent for inhaled Salbutamol was issued in 1966. In the early 1970s after a severe case of Pleurisy caused by a viral infection and numerous asthma attacks I was once again lying on a bed unable to breath; my parents thought it was blue light time but our Doctor came straight to our house confidently reassured my parents & pulled a little blue inhaler out of his bag 2 puffs later I was out in the street running around like any other kid. That Allen & Hanburys Ventolin inhaler was a game changer! Sir David Jack and his teams went on developing many many more anti-inflammatory drugs which must have improved and saved millions of lives by now including mine. GSK don't have the Allen & Hanburys R&D Centre any more It is called the David Jack Centre.
The parallels of the above with The Synairgen Team & SNG001 are uncanny.
Because of Sir David Jack & his associates we have numerous inhaled steroids for asthma COPD & many other respiratory & inflammatory illnesses. We have antibiotics for the inevitably secondary bacterial infections. Anti-fungals such as Itraconazole available for those that are unlucky enough to develop the horrendous Aspergillosis. For Viral infections we have vaccines but they can take years to roll out, each year we will need new ones, they are not always effective & cannot be given to everyone.
One day a respiratory virus will come along which is far far worse than SARS-CoV-2 but we will have a true broad spectrum anti-viral stock piled & ready for everyone.

After Oxford had nailed it I thought I would walk the dog &
come back to some good factual posts or may be something
exciting like PMJH buying more than 1 share at a time.
Instead I see WinWinWinnie the Pooh has a doppelgänger
