The question that every one is asking.
I would have thought that after 10 years of Austerity everyone would know what was a necessity.
The problem is that it now appears virtually everything that was not necessary is now necessary and vice a versa.
It's not surprising everybody is totally confused !
I'm taking my lead from the Chief Scientific Officer and self isolating to a degree !
I shall be in my bedroom from midnight to 8 am.
Now it only needs the CSO to provide Herd Immunity to a degree, i.e. between 8 am and midnight.
Job done.
Where did Johnson find this muppet ?
Running (or at least highly influential) the government is a disciple of Game Theory.
The Covid19 decisions are being made following the science of Game Theory.
Is that the science that is being referred to by government spokespeople ?
The decisions are highly dependent on how you believe people will behave.
Do you think the decision makers have any idea about the people of this country ?
Is it likely they will take the optimum actions for the people/country ?

By not paying the final dividend Lloyds would be in better position to survive intact.
It could raise the share price seeing the company was actually do something ?
But what it would do for private pensions ?
Is your private pension safe ?
Do you think the tax payer (government) will bail out failing banks again ?
Could be you will have a growing % of not a lot.
If Lloyds is as strong as some posters state then it is a target acquisition at a very low price, then you won't get your dividends or your money back !
The Deal is not Brexit as NI are effectively still in the EU Customs Union and Single Market so it should properly be called SWEXIT ( Scotland, Wales, England Exit).
So any MP that votes for the Deal is defying the Referendum result which was for the UK to leave the EU.
Indeed people who advocate MPs to vote for the deal are defying the will of the people.
Come to the next election the voters should decide whether the will of the people is the deciding factor of what constitutes a democracy.
LTI
Only a complete idiot would believe what's in the Sun newspaper.
Brexit website : https://thebrexitparty.org/register/
You'll see that you you can only become a 'registered supporter'.
It's a con by Farage to get people to fund him, it's surprises how many numpties there are around that fall for it.
If Farage offered membership who could vote for the leader then he would loose control of the party, so not likely to happen.
''The members of UK parties elect their leader'.
Who elected Nigel Farage to be leader of the Brexit party ? No One.
The Brexit party does not even have members, just registered supporters.
I'd have thought everyone knew that LTI ?
Especially people who advocate voting for the Brexit party, they obviously feel dictatorship is preferable to democracy ?
MPs voting against their party is long and honourable tradition in the HOC and an essential part of our democracy.
For 45 years Tory MPs have been voting against Tory party policy on EU membership without any consequences, so it is known that this is not a major concern within the Party.
If this has changed then the party leader would have applied a 3 line whip to the vote.
Has TM applied a 3 line whip to any of the votes ?
If not that confirms the importance of the vote to the party.
Should a MP be deselected for a 'minor' different of opinion with their party.
Voters may not believe it is 'minor' but this a party matter not a general electoral concern.
Sufficient voters supported the Tories for them to become the government, if it is believed voters knew what they voted for and its undemocratic to question this then this is how it is.
Of course everything is up for grabs at the next general election when the electorate will again decide whether the Tory party can be trusted to form a government.

I presume the organisation you are referring to is the Tory party ?
TheFarEnd
My comment was not about the operation of the tory party being undemocratic.
It was that if they chose to deselect 'their' MP, it would be undemocratic for this to result in the MP losing the office.
I note you have now stated you are ignorant, I've seen nothing to disagree with you.

The market valuation of the company has fallen by around £5 Billion.
It certainly has not been a good share to hold in the last 12 months !
Based on this does any of the BOD deserve a single share in performance bonus ?
Please remember that past performance may not be indicative of future results.
BB your better go back to school and learn some primary school arithmetic.
Saving 12 billion per year and losing 2 billion per month is not a gain of 10 billion in any period of time.
I see how you been outwitted by the Brexit propaganda.
By the way we won't be saving 12 Billion per year as our net payment to the EU is around 8 Billion.
Paying around 8 billion to get a return of 100 Billion is not considered too bad a deal by some rational people.
If we trade as effectively with the EU under WTO as we do with the USA then based on 2017 exports and comparative market sizes (populations) then exports to the EU will fall by around £2 Billion per week.
No-dealers pitch for trading with EU on WTO rules is -
We already trade with the rest of the world under WTO rules.
We trade with USA under WTO rules and USA is our largest export country.
I calculated what the difference to our exports to the EU would if we traded with the same effectivity as with the USA.
Based on 2017 total exports to USA/EU adjusted for market (population) sizes the answer came to around £2 Billion.
2 easy questions for everyone
1. Is it an increase or decrease in exports.
2. For what period is it
a. Day
b. Week
c. Month
d, 3 months
e, 6 months
f. year
If you cannot answer these simple questions do you feel qualified to comment on a No Deal Brexit ?
Are you buying the pitch ?
Email from energy supplier :-
"You may have heard in the media that Ofgem, the energy regulator, has set a price cap for the energy prices suppliers can charge.
The price you pay for your electricity and gas will be increasing from 1st January 2019."
Just a 7% increase is forecast !!!
Another Tory good deal ?
JC will be making huge profits from nationalised utilities.
General elections are 10 a penny and are usually only a minor significance to the country and 66% of the electorate need to vote for one to take place.
But for something a significant as the Brexit referendum it needed just the PM call it and only 33% of the electorate to vote for it.
Now that's what I call Irony.
